How 2 return with my five year outdated to sleep within her own bed adjectives hours of darkness?
my five year gose to bed at 8 and is up at 9 i have tryed everything she thinks amgonna leave her ive told her that am not and that am of late in the next room.
The only thing you can do is keep hold of putting her back to bed and try to make waking up the subsequent day as exciting as possible.
We sometimes have the same problem next to our 4 year old, however she does generally sleep through the night once within bed to sleep properly.
Have you tried a nightlight in her room, and either my wife or myself read her a bedtime story?
I remember my husbands grandmother (she raised him) said from the time he was 4 until he be 8. They would put him to bed and within the next hour he would be on the couch asleep in Her room. They simply kept encouraging him to sleep in his own room and his own bed and then one night he didn't come into in attendance room and from that point on he slept in his own bed. He finally felt safe and out of harm`s way in his own room
He thought they were going to abandon him (but his mom did overlook him so I can see why he felt that way)
She thinks that for a reason.
Did she speak to a friend at pre-school who is missing a parent?
Have you be using bed time stories like Hanzel and Gretel with evil step mothers?

I know its wrong, but I bribe my son. I tell him that if he sleep surrounded by his bed all night long then the fairy's will come and set out him a treat. He waits in bed til he falls alseep, then I creep contained by and leave a little something under his pillow. It can be anything from a hot toy car to a colouring in book. If you get a few different things you can alternate the 'surprise' over a few days, my son never notice and he's so pleased when he's rewarded for sleeping in his own bed. Give it a try, it really works for us.
