13 and still spanked?
Until I was 17 and moved out.
I stopped getting spanked when I finished college at age 23. My kids are 17 and 14 and they know how old I was spanked. They haven't be spanked in quite awhile, but they know that is still a punishment risk for them.
I'm 13 and I think I could still get spanked if I really screw up. I mostly bring back grounded though
My Mom always said when I complained I was too feeble to be spanked that "when I quit acting like a child I would be too old for a childish punishment.

Bahh well I have bad experiences beside it, my parents never exactly did it out of love. But if it was a loving thing that was done out of meticulousness, and just to deliver an additional consequence for doing something wrong.I would say it isn't to outdated. There really needs to be that "I love you, forgive you, its all over now, and I individual did this because I care about you" complex to it though.and it doesn't just entail to be said by them...it needs to be TRUE. Doing it out of anger is wrong, and thats how I got them...and I eventually put a stop to them for that reason. To be honest I would love a bit of loving guidance contained by my life though (I'm 16), but with my parents there is no match.its no love.or its hate. So if you are being loved by them as it happens, next I don't think you are to old. Haha heck my GF has disciplined me outa love past.weird I know.life is awesome, how open concluded it is.you can do anything...relationships can become anything. Sorry for my rant, I'm just bored person who can type fast.but point is at hand is nothing wrong with a bit of loving guidance in your time.it needs to be loving though.
