Would i be a fruitless mother if I didn't serve food at my child's birthday carnival?
don't overreact now. here are the details.
my son (who's turning 8) has no friends outside of school (long story) so the participant will be held during recess time in his classroom. the school director agreed to this given a time ceiling. and after recess is just cooling down homeroom period so there's really no college learning happening after the party-- so the curriculum won't be messed up. lol!
given the limited time (45 minutes tops), i'm thinking i should in recent times provide fab entertainment.
i'm getting a Mad Scientist from a science lab party planning outfit to do some pretty cool and safe experiments. this should be exciting enough.
i'm also preparing to donate away party loot bags filled next to science stuff (magnifying glass, compass, slime glue, etc). can you guess that my son loves science? :P
and then a cake beside candles for the ceremonial happy birthday song and blowing of candles. the kids eat the cake after, of course.
i'm thinking since this is stirring in recess period anyway, kids can own their own snacks while the show is going on.
you think this is a good idea? or is it kinda contained by bad taste?
The kids don't need a snack and cake that is to much sugar , but if the school is clich¨¦ they need a snack you should provide it as you are giving the party, get a snack explicitly not full of sugar
I presume you have the whole thing planned out tremendously well. All we used to get were cupcakes and math homework when it be some kids birthday. So this is wonderful. Hope he likes it and no, i do not think it's bad zest. Those kids will be happy they get straight to the cake, they don't care nearly "food".
yeah i think a cake is enough considering he's have it at school!
I would at tiniest put out a couple of bowls of chips for those kids that don't have recess or have to buy it. I need I was 8 again and got a mad scientist to do cool things at my gala:)
lol... is a 28th birthday too old for a mad scientist themed b'day?
haha... that would be worthy, I suck at planning birthday parties :p
Sounds perfect, really.
Food would be untimely and wasted.
Can you get a cup cake cake done? It looks close to a cake on top but pulls apart. Or you can get it shaped like some thing, magnify glass, compass? We do really cute ones at my store and I'd guess they have them every place. Its so much easier to serve to a crowd.
Good job Mom!
Nah. They'll be eating cake and they'll enjoy their own snack. This is more than likely near the beginning of arts school since you're talking about homeroom, so once they get home they can guzzle something. Most schools probably wouldn't want you to go beyoond anyway. Happy birthday to your son!
Sounds like a great opinion, I think you could get away with, how you said, giving them a snack eg. crisps, crackers etc. pious luck! :)
lmao, at first I was going to say " No, you would not be a bad mom but virtuous luck, the kids may riot. "
After reading your add. details, that sounds like a really cool idea and a guarantee for a honest turn out too. Good luck w/it :)
I'm shocked and outraged that a public school is allowing you do do this.
That aside, definitely forget about serving food. As you stated, the kids have their snacks and will also have their lunch AND you vote you're serving cake. Plenty.
That sounds like an awesome party! You're supplying cake so I wouldn't worry going on for snacks. I figure the mad scientist will have the kiddies too entertain to really care about other snacks anyway.
sound like a fun time gothicka! i don't reason you need to serve food...if anything maybe some small snacks.like bas og chips or something...but honestly from my exerience within the past and the parties i have have, the kids are usually too busy playing to want to eat..the fod i usually serve is eaten by all the adults...and given that in attendance are going to be no adults, i think it will be just fine
thats so sweet! i wish i was 8 again! hahaha
nah that all sounds awesome! But you should gain out there and join him in soccer clubs and stuff so he can net some new friends!
Answers: since when does cake not count as food? do you think the kids in actual fact care about any food besides that?
sounds fun. happy birthday to him. :-)
I think you are being rediculous roughly speaking your kids birthday.
If your gunna go through all the trouble might as well do the opening right and provide food or snacks.
