What to do more or less boys scrap?
History:
11 weeks ago my son had a lovely fall from his bike fracturing his wrist, was whisk away to the er who referred me to a specialist.
10 weeks ago the specialist applied a cast to my sons wrist.
7 weeks ago, due to my son's playing in the rain while I be out w/one of the elder boys, he had his cast replaced.
4 weeks ago, he had his appt to prefer if he were to keep it longer and was put surrounded by a splint/brace instead.
Tuesday, he had his final appt. where the dr. had informed us that he no longer needed to wear the brace unless he is rough housing for however another two weeks, which means the only time he does not need to wear it is when he is sleeping.
Anybody else's child lately as active where they are rough housing and playing from the time the get up until the time they dribble asleep?
Answers: I think that's pretty standard behavior for children, especially a boy who is around other boys. Talk to your doctor to be sure, but I would imagine that most pediatric doctors take into mind that children do not use the "elevate and rest" method of therapeutic. They know what child behavior is like, and should be treating injuries accordingly.
Well, when you see them scrapping you could try spanking them? It always worked for me when I was a kid : D. They wont think youre serious until you bring the niggle, trust me.
Do it! Spare the rod, spoil the child!! Source(s): rawr
