What are three things that I should try to instill within my children which are foundation teen hood?
Like respect and other things.
Respect for themselves.
Respect for their bodies.
Respect for their lives.
Respect for their future.
Find friends that are worthy of their friendship, don't try to mold who they are to fit others expectations.
Stay clean of off the record or harmful substances (alcohol, tobacco, any drugs [obviously excluding aspirins, if you would let your teens use them])
Have respect for yourself, and others. Don't make fun of race for being different, because your kids are different from others too.
And to come to their parents or a trusted adult if they need oblige with anything. It's not very suitable to have another teen try to facilitate you, even if they're mature, in my opinion.
And that's coming from a 13 year infirm :) Source(s): Personal experience
Answers: -Don't get someone pregnant/get pregnant
-Don't do drugs or smoke
-Don't lie and think verbs thoughts
I find church every sunday really helps with raising my children right. I be a teen mom, but I tell my daughters often that they will be married when they have their babies. Children individual learn what you teach them. So make sure apposite morals are number one!
They also watch how you react to things and your wife. So every time you call your wife a heading, your son or daughter thinks this is normal for a marriage, and will find a mate who treats them equal way. So be very careful. Being a dad have a huuuge role. More so then you think.
Something else I would make sure they know is how far-reaching their education is. Without it, their life can be very frozen and struggle money wise. Make sure you help with homework and keep under surveillance their grades closely.
Manage the friends they have. Say no to friends who are bad influences. Your children will be mad at first, but will obtain over it. Bad friends lead me to drugs and pregnancy.
Be assertive and loving!!
Good luck and I'm sure you are a great dad if you are worrying about them!!
the most important thing for youths are to be OUTGOING and to be PASSIONATE, almost something, anything as long as that something is not detrimental to their health/well being
also you should instill in them a sense of responsibility and a good view of how their actions can affect the people around them, themselves, and their family
roughly teach em to be thoughtful and considerate.
teach them to never give up what they want for the adjectives for what they want at the moment
carpe diem is good and all, but they should work toward some ultimate aim so that they'll have something waiting for them when they're all grown up and on their own !
I'm gonna say...
1. Success and happiness are key. (Everyone have their own definition of both so whatever success and happiness system to them and they will know when they have found it)
2. Respect and do unto others as they want to be done to them at all times.
3. To know their worth. (Don't settle for less or tender in, give up, or put out). Teach them that their body is basically their own untouchable temple that only they hold the key to until they give it away and that it never comes wager on. All that kind of stuff.
Never move about to Christian churches, they will eat you alive there.
Always love and respect every living thing.
Always wear a condom, unless you are all set for fatherhood with someone you love.
Always think for yourself and dont tolerate people manipulate you.
