Appropriate punishment?
I was grounded for eating some cookie dough out of the fridge. im am grounded from the computer, TV, and video games and other things. do you think this be the best possible punishment, or do you think that she over reacted?

If you took something that wasn't yours, whether it be cookie dough or money, you need to be punished. Try asking for things instead of assuming they're yours for the taking. :) It works wonders!
You could've died from that E COLI infected dough so you got lucky.

Only cookie dough? Wow she is weird. First of all my mom let me munch through cookie dough on purpose but even if she said no and you did it all she should've done is gave you a fwap over the pave the way.
Did she take your phone away and hand over you extra chores to do? Is she making you play family games all night? Is this punishment for longer consequently two weeks?
If you answered no to any of those then you got off straightforward.
obviously that whole computer grounding piece is working out well for your mom.
