(repost) Do you conjecture this is alot for a house near 25.87 acres?
They are asking $165,000..I live in WV so thats why I am asking..I know in California this is probably cheap..lol Its a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, full unfinished underground room with 25.87 acres..is this a good deal?
I am asking this in the parenting article cause I am looking for a house for my family and I am always contained by this section so I know alot of you guys!
Thanks!
The house was built in 1984 so its 25 years mature..has free gas and free water
The house is in a country setting but its singular like 10 minutes from town..it seems to good to be true..its really pretty...
sounds like a pretty good treaty to me.
but you might want to get a house inspection done before you buy it, just to know what you are getting yourself into.
it's better to know what problems might be effecting the house up front.
but over-all it sounds resembling a pretty great buy.
good luck!
I think that sounds like a GREAT deal. We're renting a house on 80-some acres and supply value is $1.2M. It's a standard Sears (?) house, no hallways, rooms just flow together near a door way. Technically 3 or 4 bedrooms (the bathroom is attached to a "bedroom" but its the only bathroom), 1 bath, finished subterranean vault.
What part of WV are you from? I live 20 minutes from Weirton.
Sounds like a good deal to me (25 acres- wow, you just might lose a kid every once and awhile). You would also know how to add onto the house if you want more children =)
Here in WA $165,000 buys a 1 bedroom condo... I must be living in the wrong place =)
Sounds like a great deal to me, but I would bring the house thouroghly inspected, and not by someone from the real estate company that is handling the sale, hire your own inspector, they will do a much better charge at finding problems. Good luck on getting the house!!
Answers: Sounds excellent, especially beside free gas and water. But you would need to find out many things.
1) Get a complete house inspection. Make sure the underground store doesn't leak, the septic tank isn't ready to grotto in, and the roof doesn't leak.
2) Make sure it is not deeded land.
3) Make sure it is free from adjectives liens.
4) Make sure the gas rights are not provisional, are transferable, and that there are no limits on them. Also, make sure that they are free and clear until the gas runs out.
5) Is the powerfully ready to go dry? Is it good hose? Does the well work (the pump)?
6) What are the taxes per year? Can you afford them?
7) Does your husband have a safe work that he will not lose anytime in the future? If your husband was let go of his job, became disabled or died, could you make the payments? Would his duration insurance cover all of this? If not, you'd need to up his insurance.
These are all things you inevitability to look at.
And if they all pan out, then YES! You would enjoy found a great buy!
Wow. That sounds too apt to be true to me! The cost of living where I live in central Texas is impressively, very low but your average 3 bedroom house on a teeny tiny lot w/ no yard is around $165,000.
