15yo daughter and the pill for her cramps?
i got on the pill when i was 15 for one and the same reason. your daughter will not think about how she can own sex. i know i never though about it as i got older i basically cared that it stopped my terrible pain.
i presume what parents dont understand is that the we dont think of the pill as a way to own sex without getting pregnant, that doesnt really cross our minds we justthinik about how much it helps our irregular/painful period that affect our social lives
Honestly, she is old plenty to be on the pill. What if she DOES decide to have sex, even if you say no to the pill? She'll be unsafe.
First you own to evaluate if you trust your daughter. You need to talk to her about this. If you don't trust her plenty to put her on the pill, your relationship needs a little reevaluating.
I think the pill is fine. So unless your daughter's a streetwalker, adjectives you're doing is relieving her of mind-numbing pain. Which is what every mother should do.
Good luck! :)
Mrs, not to be rude really...but its kinda thoughtless that because you would actually have to worry, so uh tolerate her be in pain so i don't have to verbs and I am good...I mean seriously. She is 15...besides if you have talk with her and have instilled good values into her I don`t know she will think twice but I had parents like you same situation never put me on afraid I would reflect on it was ok, then had sex and 13 years old-fashioned went wild they were too strict...when they acted close to they didn't care I quit being acting like a ****...adjectives I am saying give her some say so ask her would she close to to try it only for cramps. cause birth control or not if she wants to enjoy sex she will and its better if she is protected than being a grandma...just saying...
Give the poor kid some relief. Back in the day, I have to just suffer and miss school my pain be so bad. It can be crippling pain, not to mention embarassing when she ruins her pants within school and everyone sees. I put my daughter on the pill when she was just 14 and it was a life saver.
If you trust your daughter then you should be able to trust that she will be on the pill without behave badly. It sounds like you two have talk and have an open relationship so i think you should assistance her out by putting her on the pill. Just talk about your concerns with her first and formulate it very clear how dangerous the risks are.
I know how you AND your daughter are feeling...
When I was 15 I use to get cramps SO severe that I'd sleep contained by the bathroom because I was throwing up constantly. I would cry my eyes out because the pain was SO intense that I couldn't even stand..From my waist down I be numb...
My mother didn't know whether or not to let me start Birth Control because she also had a fear that it would distribute me the idea to have sex because I couldn't get pregnant...
But because she know how bad my pain was. she tolerate me start BC. No, I didn't go around having sex but taking the pill took away the immense pain I would gain, I wasn't even getting cramps anymore, even my periods were lighter.
See how it goes, and if you touch that she is using it for unnecessary purposes then take her off of it ..
Best of luck! :)
