How can anyone rationalize relating a child this:?

In the D.A.R.E. program they have at my school they go into grave detail nearly how people are used as mules to smuggle drug-filled balloons in their bottoms. Could you rationalize this out as:

" They transmit children that many hispanic's that live in Mexico bring Cocaine & Herion across the border and to get it here they ever swallow it or stick it up within butt, so they were telling the kids, practically if you do them it's like doing drugs that be thrown up or popped out by the person who illegally smuggled it."

*Not my statement but a part of a reply to a previous examine I posted.
I'm interpreting your question as why this other entity excused D.A.R.E by rationalizing it as a preventative measure. As in kids won't do drugs if they think someone pooped them out or threw them up.

If I'm right, consequently I don't think that makes a lot of sense. I don't surmise that that is why the D.A.R.E official did it either. I suppose it was just OVER education on their subdivision, and if they did do it as a preventative measurre I think that's really dumb. They could have used more child friendly info if they wanted to use terrify tactics, like drugs can make your teeth putrefaction, or they can make you to sleepy to have fun, something to that effect.

And as I said in your other Q, while I don't deliberate my kids are getting enough info, I think they are Over informing your kids.
I'd not specifically say that it's hispanics that live contained by mexico that are doing the "muling", i'd just explain to them that the drugs are sometimes stuck up vagina's or butts ..this is usually taught to middle age children..(the DARE program is)...i don't see a piece wrong with telling them the truth if it is going to stop some one from being a adjectives addict.
it's true... so I don't see the problem.
That is approach too graphic for a child.

I don't think I want my kids participating in DARE. I can inculcate them that stuff myself.
It's true. If you research the drug industry you'll find that there are more cases of this than you could own ever imagined. It isn't a racist thing nor is it an attempt to fear-monger - they are facts. Cocaine and Heroine especially; they are often dirty (cut with detrimental substances) and peddlers do not transport these items of their own accord. Children, women, tourists - all of these people tip out victim to forced drug peddling. Whenever you do coke or heroin in the United States, it have almost always found its way to you by means of a subdued drug transpo prisoner.
LOL.

well, what age are we talking here?
how old is the child, I thought dare program was middle academy age kids, I mean I would not tell that to kindergarten kids but middle school kids y not
I am not sure what version of D.A.R.E. you are chitchat about, but my oldest 3 all went through D.A.R.E. surrounded by 5th grade in our school district. I reviewed the curriculum and nearby was no mention of this specific information. They did discuss how drugs get into the country illegally via smuggling, but at most minuscule our police officers did not speak about the graphic details of how it's done. I suppose different law enforcement agencies who present the program have a certain plane of autonomy when it comes to how they elaborate on certain topics. I have to consider different police officers who present the program probably have their own methods of imparting information as in good health. If the students are old enough, I don't see a problem with unfolding them the truth about the way some drugs are transported.
Answers:    You can't rationalize it and it makes no sense. I answered your other question too. I don't know why any DARE program would discuss that sort of thing. I would plainly complain if that subject matter was part of the DARE program. I hold 3 kids who have been through the DARE program and like I said contained by my other answer, ours was not like that. They just talk about the different drugs to be aware of and how they were bad for you, how to say aloud no and be a leader and all that sort of stuff. That was it. It be like a 6 week program with a little DARE graduation at the closing stages as well as an essay contest. It was run by the Police Youth Officer and was outstandingly well done.

Not sure why I got thumbs down in my other answer. I connote the program was good and I have teens who do not drugs, what's to thumb down give or take a few that? LOL

also the DARE program where I live is done at gade 5 which where I live is the first year of middle school.

PS. There are a couple reason that statement is out of line, #1 it's racist sounding because it's not just Hispanic's who do it, #2. there are better reason to teach kids to say no to drugs than just the certainty that it may have been up someone's butt.
