Weird put somebody through the mill preferably dad, but moms can answer too?
yesterday there was a question on here and it said my daughter asked me minister to her insert tampon what do i say? welll it was probably a troll question but what really surprised me is some citizens didn't think it was a troll and said something well if you're the dad she must really be close to you so back her. my question is dads would you help your daughter with a tampon? and moms do you give attention to that's ok?
Mr Amazing...to be exact the perfect answer and what i would hope that any decent father would chose to do.
I do not personally reckon it is ok for a dad to help with a tampon. I think that if the mother or other woman involved surrounded by the girls life are not available, the dad should explain the use of a pad. They are much easier for younger girls to use. Then, later hold a woman explain the use of a tampon.
No offense to single dads, but helping with a tampon makes me think you are over stepping some unwritten boundaries. If the dad be just to explain the tampon, that would be ok.
I'm not a Mum i'm a minor, but yes that's ok. If your not insecure, i mean it's your daughter. If you loved her you would help her with anything really.
As a mom being a realist surrounded by the world we live today, I would have to say that if the dad is a single parent and had no woman digit to help his daughter or one that he felt comfortable helping his daughter, then yes, it would be ok if the dad used something to demonstrate how a tampon is inserted into the womanly body. After she does and will need to know.
i'd say ask your mother
No way, nearby has to be a woman in her life that can give support to her with this sort of thing. Mother, grandmother, aunt, or any woman that is close and trusted.
If at hand was no close, trusted woman to help out, I'd take her to a gynecologist.
But this is adjectives stupid, if the girl can't understand and follow the instructions on a tampon box, there are bigger problems, maybe she should be underneath some kind of special care.
That's pedophile territory. I'm sorry, but there is something seriously wrong with a father that would facilitate a daughter insert a tampon. I'd gladly report any father that says he would.
That would be VERY creepy and so no I would not be okay with that. If the girl is old plenty to need a tampon then she has the breasts and adjectives so it's like a man (father makes it worse) looking at her naked. Even if she have her top on the bottom part is very private not to mention how the heck would a guy know how to use a tampon??!!
>.<
i don't think that is right a dad should not do this if the child is unsure then the father should gladden the girl to use a sanitary towel as he has to protect himself in situations like that even though he is the child's father it could be frowned upon by others and explanation problems with social services
Answers: i wouldn't help her INSERT it but i would read the box and try to demonstrate what the box is saying
No, and my mother did not hold to SHOW me how to do it. There are instructions on the box; that is all the help you call for. A daughter should not feel comfortable asking her father this and a father should not feel comfortable doing this for his daughter.
Um im 17 years old and i know this is wierd but yeah fathers are suppose to be in that for there kids and help them but i personally have a sneaking suspicion that that if your daughter cant insert a tampon on her own then she should stick to pads. She cant depend on you for everything whats going to happen when she is beside her friends is she going to call daddy for help for inserting a tampon. No either bring up to date her to keep practicing and she will get it after a while or stick to pads.

Wow. I can't believe people thought that be okay. No I don't think it would be okay at all. I wouldnt want my husband to help our daughter next to that one day. And there is no way I would ask my dad for facilitate.
My husband would have a heart attack if one of our daughters be to ask him that question. I know his answer too, he would say I'll take you to the store, I'll agree to you pick out what you want I'll even buy them for you if you needed me too but there is no way in hell would I ever do that. later he would say go ask your mom or your grandma. Since he is a man and highly self-conscious about situations like that he would tell her to wear pad.
Asking for advice on tampons is one article.
There's an pamphlet with instructions IN the tampon box. No girl should need actual help beside the insertion. To ask is just plain sick and oversteps the father-daughter boundaries.
I'm a mom, but I think that its not a dad's place seeing as he have never had to insert a tampon. If he is a single dad and there is no mom around, he should find a trusted female the daughter is comfortable next to to help, if she needs it. I don't remember needing lend a hand with that, though.
Well I wouldn't help her, I am a mom but I would tell her to use pads but also report to her how but I wouldn't do it.
A girl shouldn't need help so this cross-question is irrelevant. Parents on here are acting like girls need help using a tampon. I never needed aid, it's not that hard to figure out. If your daughter isn't old ample to read a box and figure out how to use one, I would say she's not old satisfactory to be using them in the first place. I don't think anyone should feel comfortable asking anyone else, mom or dad, to support them put in a tampon. Just my personal opinion.
I'm 14 but I have had a tampon. But i.e. not ok! That is disgusting! I would have my closest (if I didn't have a mom) friends mom help me!
In my own life, I imagine it would have been very awkward for my dad to sustain me with a tampon. It's a girl thing. I would tell her to dance to another woman for help. There must be a trusted female she can ask.
IM NOT A DAD.BUT UMMM NO... YOU SHOULDNT HELP HER..HAVE ONE OF HER AUNTS HELP HER OR ANOTHER FEMALE DO IT.
do you see inappropriate sex situations wherever you run. Father fondling melons in the grocery store in front of his children. Women looking lustily at the zucchini. Are there manly doctors for these young girls? Shouldn't a parent be trusted even more?
You have a problem but admitting it is the first step. Seek counseling.
Of course it is not okay. Even a moms shouldn't do that.
No. I do not even help my 4 year old wipe her front. If a girl requirements a tampon she should already know how to put it in, but as a father that is just style out of bounds!
I'm not a mom or a dad but inserting a tampon isn't that big of a matter. You're either comfortable with it or you're not. I really wouldn't want anyone helping me with it any. That's just one of those things I'm not OK with my mother participating in.
I'm not a dad, but I definitely couldn't find a way to help her beside her tampon.
Ask the mother for her opinion...
