What to do roughly speaking reporting child rough up out of state?
I'm in quite a predicament and am not sure what exactly to do.My brother,his wife and their two kids live with my mother. I live contained by,NC and they live in,Virginia. My husband and I went to visit a month ago and my brother,hits his 2 year outmoded and 4 year old that's autistic as hard as he can when they will not go to sleep,etc. I've tried discussion to him,telling him he cannot be doing this to his kids and how wrong it is. Well,since leaving,a few times I've been on the phone beside my mother and she will call his two year old a mother f----- and tells him he's evil,hate him and beats him,so much yesterday when she was watching them on the phone,she kept hitting him for not picking his stuff up,beating him more for not doing it,and spanking him more for saying to him,quit looking at me.
My husband heard it on speaker phone and told me,he cannot believe how abused our nephews are.I finally yelled at my mother and told her she needed to confer on the situation before they goy hurt worse,because my brother and his wife left them with my mom to babysit them.
I told my mother not to ever flay them again,and she said,I don't beat them,I spanked him,but your brother is the one to beat them.So my question is,should I ring social services? If I do,I know they will deny everything and since the kids cannot talk,they cannot say anything,and if I make a claim,my house is going to disown me.
So what do I do,to ensure any claims by me cannot be ignored. I know my mother has a mental illness that have never been diagnosed and she refuses to get minister to for,because I've tried encouraging her to get help.My brother with the two kids,is mentally unwell because he spent his teen years in mental hospitals.
I feel between a rock and a hard place,but it have me so bothered that I hardly slept last night and resembling I said,I have yet to call Social Services, due to not have proof to give social services and know if I call on them,they'll deny it,quit talking to me and I'll never next have any chance to get proof,and due to living out of state it's not easy for me to go back there to try to attain proof,so please if you have good advice,transmit me what I should do because it's now come down to something must be done.Thank you
Answers: i would go down in personage to your local cps. i would sit down with a worker there and talk to them more or less your concerns. they do not ever give out the information of who made the report.
for all they know is that a neighbor has call on them.
you need to stress to make sure they understand everything that you own put in here.

if there is findngs you will want to own made your own arrangements to get to these children,
once they are placed, if no family is there to carry them, it can be hard to get them out.
courts do not want children out of their homes so depending on what the four year old can voice will be the key here. they know how to get what they are looking for from the children . trust me.
the parents will have to do adjectives kinds of things to get them back again.
counselling , parenting classes, etc
if for some point there are no marks. the child does not show any signs of abuse surrounded by their investigation. they may not go anywher at all
but the report stays FOR EVER!! so in adjectives it is documented.
again go down in person to chitchat to somene. AND HEY! if you feel like the person you articulate to is just yea yea ing you then get a supervisor!!
you hold a responsibility here to these children. period. Lord forbid your brother hits and the child lands wrong or is hit worng - whatever- and it died. can you live with that?

You should not wait to long beforehand you do something, otherwise, you will be saying should of, could of, would of. Those babies don't have long to wait because merely like an abusive relationship things only obtain worse. Your brother have not received any consequence for the things he have done to those baby so far, so it's merely a matter of time when that 4 year or 2 year old is going to do to really tick your brother off.
Does the mother of the children own a mental disability too? Why haven't she spoken up for her children?
What you can do is when you speak with social services you can state to them that you would like to remain anonymous until further notice that passageway your family would have no ideal as to who call for. Also you can try to record a phone conversation for proof of the abuse. There is many things you can do for proof but the best proof is a bruise which I'm pretty sure that those children own many of since you said your brother hits them as hard as he can, how awful:(
