Almost 18~ any tips on letting your parents know that you want them to tolerate walk for a while w/o them getting angery?
well I am going to be finally turning 18 next week Thursday, july 23. I'm a good girl and be paid good choices but for some reason my dad mostly well my mom a lil too can't come across to let me go.They never let me see my boyfriend as much as i approaching and I think that I'm kinda old enough to see him when i want. There other still calling me asking me where I'm at every couple hrs and what time I'm going to be home. I just wanna be more free. I feel close to I cant do what I want. I just want to explain to them okay its time to let me go a lil. For some function every time i try to talk to them they don't understand me or something idk lol buh does anybody have any tips on how to make conversation to them and let them know that i don't need to let them know every second where on earth I'm at and what I'm going without them getting upset. They deff need to let progress i know that its probably hard for them but I gotta grow up. Thanks ~loVE mariah
Some parents are like this. Mine were, too, but until I in truth moved out and was on my own, they treated me the same way. Even when I moved out they still tried to relay me what to do, honestly. It takes a while for them to let you grow up, but the first step is to move out. Are you starting college soon or in your final year of high school?
If you are starting college maybe you can move into a dorm or an apartment. It's assured to get college loans and a part-time job while here. That's how I paid my way. If you are in your closing year of high school, the only article you can do is continue to try to talk to them about letting you spend more time next to your boyfriend. I know it sucks that they have to get in touch near you every few hrs but if you can get them to let you have more freedom to be out and in the region of, like a later curfew, giving them a call every few hrs is a apposite compromise.
Overkill. Text them, call them, walk out notes everywhere. Even when you go pee pee. Or, when they call you. Say, hey im have sex right now, can I call you back surrounded by about 2 minutes?
Good luck!
