Do you surmise teens within a place resembling NYC could win into any more trouble than teens within a small town?

I was thinking that in NY, there would be more clubs that they could acquire into with a fake ID. But, there are clubs everywhere and doesn`t matter what they do at clubs in NYC they could do at someone's unsupervised house in a small town. Plus, kids in rural areas can grasp into a lot of trouble too. What are your thoughts. I mean, teens can get into trouble anywhere. You in recent times have to raise them well.
where i live, probably equal amount.
in NYC near are clubs, but here there are wild parties within barns and in the middle of dirt roads. kids set off fireworks (only God knows where on earth they get them) and bottle rockets.
I agree next to you about how raising children well is knob. But to answer your question, I think teens in more urban areas are more expected to get in trouble, because 1) There are many different ways to return with in trouble than in rural areas (clubs, parties, not genuine ID, etc...) 2) There seem to be more police present in the city than in the country 3) If you live surrounded by a small town, and everyone knows everybody, you can get away easily beside doing something wrong just by connections. I'm not saying teens are worse in urban areas, it's only just seems that there is more of a likely hood for them to grasp in trouble or get caught. Source(s): I live in a small town
Answers:    Beer and sex are everywhere man, so no.
Personally, I think it's worse in Smalltown, USA. But then... that's where on earth I grew up. When I was 18, I moved closer to the city, and was amazed at all the legalized, age appropriate entertainment available to those under 21. I had a blast, and mostly stayed out of trouble.

Shortly there after, my circumstances changed, and I concluded up in BFE, USA, which is 3 steps behind Smalltown. It amazed me, the trouble those kids could and did get into. Was within the middle of the bible belt, so there were no teen dance clubs, no arcades, no zilch to go and be social at. The local youth made due with the standard available pasttimes: drugs, alcohol, and sex. As a result, many, at an rash age were: junkies, binge drinkers, drunk drivers, and teen parents, or worse all of the above.

I truly believe there have to be a balance. If you give good kids, angelic places to hang out and be social, they're less likely to take home the wrong choices.
Oviously you are a teen and yes, definitely, you need someplace else to go. You know as powerfully as this redneck from another state knows, Other than since Katrina, DC was the highest place of crime/gangs, and immediately you are asking what??, get out of the neighborhood, make a life for yourself, gang are a dead end street, I know what I'm talkin about for an dated woman, Had a kid was a crip, now he's livin day to year just hopin to have a REAL life. God bless ya kid, and you surrounded by my prayers.

Yes yes, teens will always find trouble to get into. Most of the time if they can't find trouble, they'll make trouble. Even the best of kids (^_^)

As a teen I lived contained by both metro and rural areas, and there were different types of trouble...I thought it was crazy within the city, until I went to a party way out contained by the boondocks for my first time and WOW it was insane.

You think of gang banging and stuff contained by the city, but let me tell you, these country kids are even worse with their guns because they own BIG OL' shotguns and they just shoot 'em off where ever while they're drinking.

Yeah, there's trouble everywhere. Source(s): my personal experience.not wise saying it's right, but it's what I know
i focus it's worse in small towns
my fiance spent more time in the woods drinking and smoking pot then i vigilance to think about - i saw pictures he looked about 8 (he be a little older, but not much) you can't get into most clubs moderately that young

we live in NY, north of NYC, and i've gotten in more precarious situations at home after in the city...

it's probably worse in other big cities than NYC though, it's really not as bad as the rest of the country think...

you're right - it's how you raise them and how you keep your eyes on them - you have to know where on earth they are Source(s): NY'er
It would be pretty rugged to get into trouble like that where I grew up.

No clubs, bar, of any kind.
Nothing more interesting to do than buy boos at Safeway with that fake ID.

Of course, you can win into trouble anywhere, but there are a lot more bad influences (and temptations) surrounded by a place like NYC.
I think it depends, it could be either. From what I've known it depends more on the kid, they will find ways to do stupid things if they want. Rural kids repeatedly have plenty of open space, ways to get around rules (e.g. if there's lone one bottle shop in the whole town and they know the owner, they could get given alcohol underage) etc. But yes, within a big city there are lots of dangerous areas as well, lots of groups of those who could get into fights, lots of places to go. I construe it mostly depends on parental supervision and their social group.
There is always the internet. THe worst place to let a teen be in motion.
