How several presents does your child take for birthday and Christmas?
We do one big grant and lots of little ones for christmas and birthdays for each child except for my eldest as her birthday is christmas day.
Well, I'm a child so I still don't have children but I'll answer this question anyways. The presents I and my brothers and sister get surrounded by birthday and christmas are always different. As well for the money spent in the presents. We bring back the things that we want and that my parents can afford to buy. It doesn't really matter the money spend or the number of presents. Only if we like them! (and the intention of course ^^)
economically myself growing up for my birthday I use to get a birthday party with $25 within a card. for christmas we got $100, plus socks, undies, and a few small things but there was also 6 kids for my parents to buy for!
I have a 2 year old son, and I am a single mother. (I'm twenty two.)
For his birthdays, he get just some little toys and outfits. Sippy cups.
I don't have much money, & he enjoys lately receiving small toys.
For Christmas, my parents go all out so I don't involve to worry about going bankrupt on gifts.. lol. They carry him tons of stuff, he loves it. They probably spend around $100-$200 dollars on him at Christmas time. I probably spend around $50 on his birthday, maybe less.
i hold one brother. "santa" spends about $200 all together.
We spend about $100 per child once they are 2. Before then we just buy some little toys and stuff more or less $25.
This Christmas we will have 4 kids and then we spend $50 on our Christmas present for both family party. So this year we will spend about $275 on gifts.

well i dont have kids but i know how my parents work it out. for our birthdays we bring one gift, but its nice stuff. like my brother got an i-Touch and i get texting. but for christmas my parents do their best to spend equally as much money on all of us. and there are 3 of us little angels :) lol hope i helped?

i hold to kids and i spend no more than like 100 for a birtday gift and christmas i spend what i want i have no reduce per child for that holiday as long as they both get a fair amount.
A lot of that depends on our finances at that time. I don't always dance by the same amount of money but I do try to make it the same number of presents. For Christmas my kids usually carry 3 or 4 from us, but it has been 2 on a couple years. For birthday it is usually two from us and one from their sister. For me it is more about getting something they really want (within reason) more than it is just about the amount of money spent.
Well, I just know how much my parents spend, they tell me so I can pick out stuff I want but not go overboard.

I have three kids. They own a certain dollar amount and whatever they want that fits the budget is what they get. I can be one big entity or a bunch of things.
We don't get any presents for any. Money is low. We used to get about 3-5 each, Santa included.
Eadch child surrounded by my family gets three presents from santa( For example guitar hero, a camera, and a pinball machine) and there is beneath the tree gifts and they all get the equal amount of about 15 respectively and there are two children in my family. for here birth day they just get one big present close to a ipod touch or someting of that nature.
for birthdays i never go further tehn 50$ a child, christmas is the big giving time for us!
We don't celebrate birthdays or christmas.Each child gets spending money every two weeks when I get salaried,one dollar for each year of their age.If they have a goal surrounded by mind they are saving for(Like a camera),I'll match their savings once they enjoy at least half. i spend 200 on all my kids and then my brothers buy them a bunch of stuff
I have 6 kids and we are a Jewish/Catholic family. But my kids are man raised jewish so my kids get 7 small presents for Hanukkah and one big present on the 8th night. Then for christmas they draw from some knickknacks to open and one big present.
