Don't you lately love the "Should I ring child services" question?
I see your point, but I disagree. Firstly, I don't blame someone for asking other people's feelings on whether they should make that call. That call can basis a lot of hurt feelings if it turns out to be nothing, sometimes someone basically wants some reassurance. Yes, there are obviously some made up stories; that's the temper of the beast when you are on the internet.
Also, calling CPS doesn't destroy a family. CPS won't come help yourself to someone's children away just because someone called and made a report. They will investigate all reports made, across the world by calling the child's school (if possible) and by visiting the home. Many times, even when they see violations, they'll work beside the family to correct them before they remove a child. They'll only remove a child if they see frank grounds to do so when they do their own investigation. Sadly, many children are actually left surrounded by abusive homes because CPS just didn't have anything except an annoymous call.
Bless you for saying that. All I was doing was sitting here smacking my forehead every time I read one of those. Maybe I can relaxation up on myself now.

It almost seems like you read my mind. I cruise the questions and type contained by a few wisecracks, sometimes when I read the personals type questions I try to imagine what the other side of this story might be and twirl up getting angry at the person asking the question! The problem is I am trying to get my best answer percent as high-ranking as possible (10% and rising). If I call people on their stupid questions I can kiss that answer leading best answer goodbye.
My mother was a foster parent for 8 years... It is not a pretty system, messes kids up allot. They seem to be more at risk of maltreat in the care of child services than out of it.
Lol, yep. If you know they is abuse or neglect going on, unquestionably you need to call. If you think they basically aren't the greatest parents in the world, you but out.

You are so right! Most of the time you can tell a entity is fabricating the circumstances. I just can't stand it when ppl go on pure speculation and no facts, really associates myob!! Nobody likes busy bodies
