My 2 yr frail have tonsilectomy 2 days ago, what should they look similar to in a minute?

i dont want to get worried but i have just looked into his mouth to see if they are bleeding because i dont know how youd know otherwise, and they hold a creamy/yellow cover were they were, i dont want to get worried that hes get an infection as i dont know what they should be like straight after as they are healing..he is uncomfertable obviously but after some paracetamol and iburophen which the hospital give me he is fine, he is eating and has no temp, so is this normal contained by the healing process??
Answers:    Just give it time it takes more or less 2-3 weeks for a wound to heal thoroughly so only be concerned if he has a dignified temp
