Are you paying for you're kids to travel to college?

If yes, HOW? How many children do you have or plan on having?

Did your parents COMPLETELY pay packet for your education? Like by their saving, loans in THEIR baptize, etc. If not how did you pay for school.

My mom put her self through school and I'm putting myself though university. I always knew I wanted a better education but I honestly never expected her to foot the bill, Is that strange?

As far as my kids, I will encourage them to keep correct grades and try for scholarships and Pell Grants. I'm will to even co-sign on student loans, but I don't know if I'm willing to be the only one responsible. I be aware of my education means so much more to me because I know I HAVE to pay stern the money ( not someone else) whether I graduate or not. What's your stance on this?
I hold no children.
I paid the college tuition and my son rewarded for the books and labs. The agreement was that he work no more than 20 hours a week and maintain a A/B grades.

My gf's son's go into the military and had their education paid for by that program.

My sister's daughter have a combination of work, loans and Mom helping.

It all depends on what you and your family can afford to do. The important article is to follow your dreams and get the education to do so.
Answers:    No, My husband paid his own college and I recieve loans to get through school and will be paying for them myself.also, my kids will probably attain loans as well...I see nothing wrong with it, everything costs money and they will enjoy to learn that...I can't hand everything to them on a silver plater..
I have savings accounts for respectively of of my children and will help them in any way I can.

Why would I want my children to start their lives next to thousands of dollars worth of debt? What a horrible way to start out life`.

Of course I will encourage grants/scholarships but will try to avoid them having to find students loans if possible.
My grandmother created an account for me awhile put money on and she has been putting money into it for my college.
So far she has compensated for one semester and will be paying for my semester this fall.

She has enough save up for me to get my associates degree in something.

I plan on paying for the subsequent 2 years to get my bachelors.
There are ways to pay for education on your own. No, I will not help them beside education. But, I will help them in other ways.
my sister is in college and i pray for her, she has great things going on in her existence
Umm hell no
I am definitely all for assisting them beside expenses if they studied hard and got almost a full ride or a good grant, but no way in hell am I paying for a slacker kid to go to a 4 year Uni who passed high-ranking school by the skin on his teeth. However, I WILL ensure that I do pay for my children to learn a skilled trade if they are interested...close to welding, carpentry, AC repair, beauty college, massage therapist, and the like, and if they are still home at 19, this will not be an leeway. It will be a requirement or they get dropped off at the local recruiting station.
I will help them pay for it as much as I can, and i'm going to save up money for respectively of them. I won't pay for it if they're just going to slack off though.

My dad is paying for my college and will be paying for my 2 brothers as in good health. He's been saving up since we were born, and we're adjectives fortunate that he has a decent paying job. I did bring back a few grants and scholarships, for good grades and for graduate high school early.I go to a community college for 2 years to keep the price down...it was about $700 a semester. For my second 2 years i'll be going to a state university, which is $14,000 a year.

Going to a school that cost $50,000 a year was not an option. I would never want my dad to money that much for me anyway, it's ridiculous and a waste of money.
I have three children. I will help them within college, if that's what they choose to do, but I will not pay for everything.

My husband and I both paid for college ourselves. I never expected my parents to foot the bill either.

I agree next to you completely.
