My teen son have a potty mouth...?
So I just found a blog that my 15 yr old son wrote. I was shocked by how discouraging his language is there must have be 20 F bombs. It was well written otherwise.Should I be concerned? Overall he is a great kid gets devout grades etc etc. His choice in music is scary but so was mine when I be a kid...I want him to express his creativity but this was a bit much. Should I trust him to make good choices and butt out?
Relax, he is fine! I'm a juvenile and trust me... ALL teenagers swear! It's totally normal these days. And as for the music... hey, if he likes it permit him be!
But don't stress about the swearing, like I said, kids start swearing at 12 these days... But when you be a teen you did/said stuff only when you weren't around you parents, right?
And try not to tell him you found the blog... he may get a bit red... I would. And try not to do it in future maybe... resembling I said... EMBARRASSING!

As much as you want to support your kid, reading his blog isn't the best way to find out roughly speaking him.
Expressing feelings on a blog, in my view, is without fault fine! I'd much rather the angry man on the bus shouting abuse at me wrote his feelings surrounded by a blog rather than directly at me (<this is metaphorical of course). Let him be, as long as he isn't offending anyone then you have no want to worry! He will soon, most hopefully (you state good grades) gain a wide adequate vocabulary to not use vulgar language - and learn that expressing yourself creatively is respected a lot more than plain swearing and rudeness.
im 16 years old and to be honest im a nice lad too i don't give anyone trouble and im not rude but it this light of day and age its just second nature to swear and curse nobody thinks roughly speaking it, trust me it doesn't change who he is he will still be a nice lad,
i would say just permit it slide. at that age i was nice and polite around my family and still am. i very uncommonly curse in front of any family members but when your beside friends it's a different story. i have a complete potty mouth. i bet if you think back you can believe of something that was mostly harmless you did when your parents weren't around. if he's an all around fitting kid i wouldn't worry.
20 F-bombs is not person creative. It's ranting. It's also a sign of low intelligence or laziness. I'd tell him to clean up his discourse or he will be banned from the computer for a while.
I think the way to look at it is that he didn't write it for your eyes probably. I know my children swear resembling sailors but they don't do it in front of me and that's fine, they grow up and make their own decisions.

Do not look at his blog in future he is a kid and you are his mother its approaching looking at his private diary.
Answers: I'm 14 and i devise that i get fairly good grades I'm a honourable girl and ya i say the F word does my mum know? Ha no! And if she did, she would not like that! But i wouldn't say "butt out" newly don't worry too much about it! I think that its in recent times a teen thing most normal teens swear.
If you're that concerned about put in the picture him that the writing was good, but ask if he could use less F bombs...after walk away.

You own such disrespect. this is coming from a teen. if u looked at my diary, id hold a grudge against u for a long time. how are we supposed to express ourselves when our parents give us no privacy, huh mother of a teenager. bequeath ur freaking son some space to live, cant u see he did everything he wants a parent to see of their son, good grades, nice kid. leave him alone to his privacy and tolerate him be who he wants to be. i dont like the fact that a child cant deed the way they want because a parent doesnt like it. its not a potty mouth, its normal. hes 15, not a 2 yr aged child. im sorry to be mean, but im on the side of the children and not on the parents. because parents take advantage of their kids, and i hold a grudge against that. obviously u can trust him, he gives u freaking good grades, he takes the time to study. so u cant trust him exact he has F bombs...ur an insane mother. not trusting ur own child. ur just those losers who want to take adjectives the authority, scare ur kids, and not treat them equally as you.
EDIT: This is coming from a nice kid too. i never gone to jail, i never drank alcohol, i never did drugs, i stay home almost all light of day, i was never a bad kid. but i swear sometimes because its frustrating for me living a life where on earth no one understands me. so i have a right to read aloud what i said.
