Well, I'm on a diet so I had baked chicken next to broccoli, I know yummy right, My picky 4yr old had a peanut butter & banana sandwich, my 19 month old have penne pasta, & my husband who is also dieting made some kind of nutritional shake for himself. An easy dinner that's really good that I used to variety & everyone seemed to like was Southwest Chicken. You cook boneless skinless chicken until it is done & when it is take it out of the oven & put salsa over the chicken & gets some shredded colby jack & sprinkle that over the salsa. It is really good & it's prompt & easy. It goes great with rice & corn.
tonight we are have pork chops..with mashed potatoes and peas. I do use butter and I do use some salt...and it is yummy. :)
i know it doesnt sound excellent, but i love it - -
my version of tater tot casserole haha
1 lb hamburger meet [and anything spices you put in it normally, like saline and pepper, i like to also throw in a little sheep farm seasoning]
1 can of corn, peas, lima beans, or greenbeans [whatever you prefer]
1 can of cream of mush soup
1 can of cheddar soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
tater tots
preheat over to 425f. brown hamburger meat with seasoning, drain fat and empty into mixing bowl. drain can of veggies and supply to meat. add both cans of soup [do not add water] to mixture. mix together. put mixture into a casserole dish and supply one layer of tots to the top. put the casserole in the oven until the tater tots are golden brown. put the cheese over the top of the tater tots and put back into the oven until the cheese is melt. YUM.
i like a little ranch dressing on the side of mine, but i really similar to ranch on everything lol =]

It's too hot to cook today so we are doing a lovely antipasto plate with a variety of cured Italian meat, cheeses, crusty bread, and marinated vegetables such as roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts and and marinated eggplant. Glass of wine and you're set. Yummy!

I'm thinking of making some beef tortellini tonight - that's new for me.
Also, if you don't own them regularly, I LOVE pierogies. My mom's homemade pierogies = Best. Food. Ever! It takes a lot of time and effort to engineer them, so either make a big batch and freeze them for adjectives use, or get the pre-made frozen ones from the supermarket.
Kebobs on the grill! With marinated teriyaki beef, red bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. A summer favorite!
Quorn mince mixed into original Dolmio Sauce next to fusilli pasta.
