I know it's adjectives a thing of different opinion but...?
what are your preferences on these things? (And please don't quote on the 'recommended guidelines' as they obviously don't work in every case for every child.)
Breast or bottle feed?
Co-sleeping or baby in their own bed?
Spanking as a form of discipline?
Baby sleeping on their back, front or side?
What age to tender solids?
Breast feed, you know it's secure.
Depends, if the'yre little and scared or sick then it's fine. I they're aged enough to know that the monster is isn't hiding or stuff then I'm not fine wit hit. Depends on the situation. When the baby first come home all we did that day was in recent times lay in bed with our baby.
Only if they od something specifically seriosuly dangerous
Don't really care, as long as they're safe and comfortable I'm adjectives ears
What age they're ready I gave mine at about 7 months to a year, but I still used liquid. They covered to complete solids as average at about 1 and 3/4 of a year.
Breast feed if at all possible, but if not then bottle is perfectly fine.
Co-sleeping is nice, unless you own a child who kicks or wets the bed or something like that, surrounded by which case it's not so nice.
Spanking is fine, but only if used sparingly. I can count on the fingers of two hands the number of times I've ever have to resort to it.
Better for a baby to sleep on his back when possible.
Give solids when the baby is antiquated enough to start showing interest in them, which he will as soon as he's ready for them. It's best to start near soft things like rice cereal or bananas.
When possible breast-feed.
A baby should be in his own bed beside some exceptions. There is a slight risk of rolling over on the infant and accidentally hurting the baby.
Spanking is fine as long as it meets two conditions. One, it cannot be abusive. Two, it should work. It doesn't work for every child.
Not sure more or less baby's posture during sleep. SIDS is scary. Lots we don't know.
They should have solids when they are ready. If they are swallowing fine and can chew foods, later they can have solids. Don't get in a hurry. Take your time. Remember that texture is momentous with foods as well as taste. You wouldn't put away great tasting slime just because of the texture.
Breast or bottle feeding? Breast, it contains things formula never can.
Co-sleeping or baby surrounded by their own bed? No preference. I had them in equal room, and the same bed sometimes.
Spanking as a form of discipline? Not as a rule.
Baby sleeping on their back, front or side? Newborns on their back, it is true the SID rates are down when this is done. Once they can roll around, it is up to them!
What age to supply solids? I forget what I did. Probably what the doctor recommended or close to. You can tell when they are hungier than just nursing gives.
I tried Breast feeding but My tot wasnt getting enough milk so i went to the bottle and never looked back!
My litte boy be always put into his own bed but i was too scared of rolling on him!
I individually think smacking a child wont do any harm onbviously so long as you dont beat them!! But i other had a smack on my bum and i have turned out just fine!
I other put my baby on his back to go move about to sleep but when i go in in the morning his is contained by all positions!
I gave my baby solids at 3 n partly month milk just wasnt filling enough and he be absolutly fine!
Personally with children its all trial and error!!
Good Luck
Breast or bottle feeding? --- I believe "breast is best" but I chose not to breastfeed my children. I tried for almost a month with my son but have a HORRIBLE experience so chose not to at all with my daughter.
Co-sleeping or baby surrounded by their own bed? --- In their own bed. I cannot lie, there are nights my daughter comes to bed beside us after waking up at 3am, but she knows she doesn't normally sleep next to us.
Spanking as a form of discipline? --- It works for some children. It doesn't really work with my son, who is almost 7 yrs old. It never did work actually lol. I be spanked all the time when I was little...I don't think of it as invective in itself, only when it gets out of foot.
Baby sleeping on their back, front or side? --- I always found that on their side worked best. I'd always try on their stern first but the side never failed.
What age to give solids? --- Each baby vary of course. My daughter is "underweight" (but very tall) so her pedi had me start cereal at 4 1/2 months. She is very soon 9 months old eating all kid foods and some regular table foods.mashed potatoes, smashed up french fries, mac n cheese, etc. Source(s): Mommy of 2
Breast or bottle feeding? I option I could have breast fed mine, but I couldn't - I didnt produce enough milk :(
Co-sleeping or kid in their own bed? own bed,
Spanking as a form of discipline? not for me, but wouldnt rule it out depending on situation
Baby sleeping on their back, front or side? No matter what method I put my babies down they always rolled on to their back anyway lol
What age to give solids? between 4-6 months, my youngest be nearly 9 months whenb she first got solids.
I breastfed, coslept then moved them within to their own beds when it was right for ME and MY family, spanking is unfamiliar in MY family, babies go on their back, my daughter i started about 6 mons, my son later. that is what be best for MY family. the caps on my is because thats what worked for me and mine and is no way suggesting its the simply way to go with every child contained by the world.
My preference is: breast, co-sleeping, spanking, baby on the posterior until they can roll themselves into a different position, solids around 4-6 months.
Breast or bottle feeding? Breast by far. I'm a huge fan of breastmilk. I plan on breastfeeding till at least 18 months. Probably 2 years.
Co-sleeping or tot in their own bed? For me... we mix it up. I like him to go to bed at darkness and nap in his crib... but sometimes if he wakes up to nurse I'll save him with me in bed for some cuddles. We co-slept until 1 month then go to the crib.
Spanking as a form of discipline? I'm not a fan of it. In most cases I think there is a better opening. If it's something that happens even weekly I think that is disappointing... but I can understand certain, rare circumstances where on earth I would condone it.
Baby sleeping on their back, front or side? I tried back.. but my son had awful colic (ended up one from an allergy) and he could only sleep on his tummy. Before I let him he was awake 1pm-10pm every year for a month. For us, tummy was best. He couldn't develop properly on such little sleep.
What age to give solids? 6 months.
1) Breast. convenient, clean, healthy. Can express so father can help on darkness feeds. Child gets better immune system and better hearing (strange but true) 1st week is REALLY intricate but it gets much easier.
2) Child in own bed. Our daughter has other had her own bed and settled really quickly. When she was 4 she would get up and come to our room for 5 minutes of hugs but would leave again. The only time we shared a bed was one dark when she was really ill and would not settle unless I was nearby. My wife's friend's daughter has always shared her bed and now her daughter is 5 and it's a complete nightmare as her husband have to sleep in a separate bed.
3) My wife spanks, I do not (different opinions) I always feel that at hand is another form of punishment more suitable. Ironically my mother-in-law and my wife's grandmother feel that I am mean and strict.
4) Baby sleep on back at foot of bed. Statistically smaller amount likely to suffer cot death so how can you do anything else?
5) I think our daughter started on mushed food almost 6 months. She weened herself off breast (just took less and less, no conscious stab from my wife) Source(s): Luckiest dad on the planet
Breast or bottle feeding?-Bottle
Co-sleeping or child in their own bed?-Baby in their own bed, because
it can start to become a bad infatuation that is hard to break.
Spanking as a form of discipline?-I agree. But after I spank I always label sure to talk to them about WHY they got spanked and what they can do better.
Baby sleeping on their subsidise, front or side?-I always put my girls on their backs.
What age to give solids?-Well the ages are base off my own experiences;5-9 months.
I pumped my milk
baby in their own bed
no, I would never spank

6 months
For my family:
1. Breast feeding, hand down.
2. Co - sleeping is fine and perfectly safe when done properly. My son co - slept for the first six months and moved to his own room with no problems. To this afternoon, he's a great sleeper.
3. Not for us.
4. Back.
5. No earlier than six months.
Breast of bottle - I like to use both. I know it's not recommended, but it have always worked for me.
Co sleeping or baby in own bed - again, for a moment of both. If my baby wants to get into bed next to us he can. ( Most of the time, LOL )
Spanking - I don't. but my kids are very well behaved for some aim. Some kids need a good swat on the butt.
Baby sleeping - all 3 of my kids slept on their tummies. They are adjectives just fine.
Solids - I started giving rice cereal at around 3 or 4 months.

Breast is best for baby but i had to bottle nurture as i wasnt producing enough for my massive son - can always express milk and bottle feed that road to get dad involved
My baby only co sleeps when he is off-colour, it can be dangerous but i know i dont move when i sleep. I have always made sure that my babe sleeps 99.9per cent of the time in his cot
Not spanking, i lightly tapped my son to generate him unstraighten his legs, not to hurt him or shock him or anything and it felt so horrible and unnatural so no to spanking
My son slept on his back at first when he was self swaddled, on his side between 2 and 5 months and now always sleeps on his belly (after 6 months risk of sids is reduced)
I gave mine solids at 4 months but have always been advanced in intake due to his size at birth i think
Breast or bottle feeding: Depends on the circumstances, IMO. I'm not strongly one opening or the other, it's the mother's choice and although breast feeding does have benefits and advantages for the child and the mother, bottle feeding is within no way harmful. I breast feed, and love it, but I can see going the opposite way.
Co-sleeping or baby surrounded by their own bed: Baby in their own bed. Although co-sleeping is so convenient, and it's easy to check on the baby and things during the darkness, I'm just too nervous about bed frames and, as expected, rolling over onto her. She sleeps in her own room in the crib 50% of the time and in her bassinet surrounded by my room 50% of the time. We have tons of baby monitors and we check on her a lot, and within this case I'd rather be safe than sorry. (Really contained by all cases...but whatever).
Spanking as a form of discipline: No way. I do think adjectives of the "sexual abuse" and "child abuse" stuff is junk (a slap on the back never hurt anyone) but I would not want to teach my children that hitting is something to do when you're upset or angry. Even though in attendance are situations where it might teach her that what she was doing is wrong, I really would fairly find a better way to do that.
Baby sleeping on their back, front, or side: On her back until she can roll around herself. There's evidence that it lowers SIDS risk, and believe me I would do doesn`t matter what I could to lower SIDS risk. My daughter can't roll over yet, so I place her on her back into her crib whenever she takes a rest or goes to sleep. I want her to be comfortable too, so like I said when she gets mature enough to roll around herself I'm not interfering.
What age to give solids: Whenever works. Source(s): Sophia is 4wks today!
Answers: as far as breast or bottle i chose bottle. its a personal choice. i dont agree with co sleeping, i dont agree with spanking, thats teaching your child to hit. i presume baby should be put to sleep however he is most comfortable, and i started giving my baby solids at abt 8 months
