~Parents~ A serious ask? (repost-I want more opinions)?
I value your opinions...
Do you honestly think the cutback will ever get better? If so how long do you think it'll take? I don't deem it has really affected us at all where on earth we live but its still so scary..I just can't imagine raise my kids up in a hard world..like where on earth we have no money for nothing..but I think (i hope) that it will capture better and bounce right back soon!
No, I honestly do not. Our economy is surrounded by a similar condition to Russia's just before the collapse. We are sending too much money out of the country and not taking care of our own stipulation. Realistically it will be years before real recovery begin.
I don't know. I construe Obama is spending WAY more than he should. I think it'll affect our children because they'll still be paying our debts when they get to working age. A $100,000.00 job to me within several years to come will be like a $40,000.00 job today. Plus with the "import tax revision" I think it's making people think they don't hold to work hard because things will just be given to them. Why go to statute school when I can still get benefits for being a mentor. Do you see? It'll make people not want to succeed. I would love to have 4 children. My husband make a very good living so far but pays more than half of it within taxes. I don't think it'll bounce right back at all. It will transport years upon years to bounce back!! Before you know it, you'll be ordering at Wendy's and getting a combo meal for $15 instead of $5 or $6. Living surrounded by the US is going to cost everyone a fortune like England for example. BUT there is nothing we can do. Just hope and pray its not so bleak. Good luck!
Answers: I completely understand your apprehensions about the cutback. Everyone is worried about losing their job and especially if they have small children at home who are dependant on them for everything.
The righteous news is that I think that the recession will officially ending in October, when we have a quarter of economic growth. The discouraging news is that recovery is destined to be really slow. The economic growth surrounded by 2010 will only be about 1-2%. In addition, severance is a lagging indicator to the economy. Even if the economy might start to expand surrounded by the late fall of this year. Companies will probably not be hiring to meet increased emergency. Unconfident consumers will not spend much, so the economy will just sputter along.
What that means to you is that if enjoy job do your best to keep it, if you lose a job don’t be afraid to pilfer a lower one with smaller salary just so you can save your health and other benefits, and keep a rainy year fund that equals three to four month’s salary.
But, keep your chin up. My parents made it through the recession in the slowly seventies and early eighties with a couple of kids. We can make it to. You a short time ago have to be practical and thrifty. Things can only get better.

I'm sure it will get better. My parents raised children during the Depression and made it all right. This is nil compared to that. And since your children are young enough to still be at home with you, you own years and years to earn money and save for the future.
I lost my job in December, and my husband doesn't enjoy one. We manage though.
Yes, I do believe it will eventually get better. Just like it did after the Great Depression. I think it will hold many years though. It took us many years and many mistakes to capture to this point, so it'll take at least that much time to dig our style out of it.
Of course it will. It always does.
Then greedy old white men will figure out a route to f*ck it up again.
It will bounce back but it will take five years or more
You own to allow time for strategies employed to take effect
In the mean time save and spend sagaciously
I'm an eternal optimist, so yes, I do think things will get better. The economy have caused hardships for so many ancestors. I know many who have lost their jobs and their homes. It's especially sad and extremely terrifying! We all obligation to stick together and help others whenever we can.
I don't know how long it will take to see a turn around. They always read out it's darkest before the dawn, so I just pray that a beam of sunshine is looming over the horizon.
The great Depression ended didnt it?
Yes it will get better. People were asking the same cross-question in the 80's.
The economy is a cycle, there will be dutiful years and there will be bad years. You can't have adjectives good.
