19 year age difference?
If me(woman) dates a man who is 37 and I'm 18.. is that bad? Or frowned upon? hasn't happened lol but purely wondering..
You are still a young adult. This man has be an actual adult for years now and good luck finding anything within common besides sex. All men that age are looking for is sex if they are hooking up with some little 18 year old. Personally I presume the age gap is HUGE especially since you just now ofically become an "adult". Be young and have fun. With a man that is almost 40 you will find yourself baggy around other 40 year olds that have children and are married. You cant even drink with the person so why would you want to budge out with them. I am 22 and I have 2 kids with my fiancee who is 29. I focus this is a large gap too but we have a great deal in common and I have grown up and enjoy been on my own since I was 17. I suggest live your live and hang around individuals your own age unless you want to become a wife to a 40 year old. Just think- if you had a baby next to this man at 20 he will be 39 and when your child is going to college he will be close to 60 years old! I think thats gross!
Legally, you're both consenting adults, so if you want to do it, walk right ahead!
However, it would be widely frowned upon, and honestly just seems like a discouraging idea. I've had friends who've been surrounded by similar situations, and it never ended well - among other things, there's usually a huge difference between the mentality, maturity, energy experience, etc. of people those ages, and be warned there ARE men out within who'll date way younger women cause they're a little romantic sometimes.
Oh, and one last word of warning: NEVER, EVER date a man who's with another woman, whether it's a wife or fiance or girlfriend! If he say he's going to break it off with her for you, he's probably telling the other woman like peas in a pod thing, and he's probably going to be selfishly stringing you both along for as much 'benefits' as he can get until either you or her break up next to HIM.
I wouldn't suggest it. He could be you're dad, if he have you at 19. By the time you can legally drink, he'll be 40. And If you were to get married, your likelihood of being a young widow are high.

Don't be concerned by what other ancestors say, it's your life so live it. Life is not a rehearsal, and life to me finances happiness, and if you try hard enough it will surface!

Okay how about a physical life example: My mom and dad(he adopted me when I was 2 years old), will be celebrate their 26 yr. anniversary in August. She is 49 and he is 67. They are 18 years apart. So what should this tell you? That it doesn't matter and its not wrong, its of late what you want out of life. Granted I might do the same thing she did(They get married when she was 23 and he was 41),. Shoot the first time my dad got married(he be married to his first wife for about 21 years), my mom was born the same year. He have a daughter that is a 2 years younger than my mom. Just because someone doesn't like it, doesn't make it wrong. You really stipulation to go with your feelings.
