What is a perfect curfew for a 13 year ripened?
My mother wants me to come home at 9:00 when I go out by myself. But when I'm with my elder brother who's 15 she lets me stay out to 10:30. I think my curfew should be a little high. After all I am mature for my age and I hang out near older kids, who some don't even have curfews.

Personally, I feel that a 13 year old can be trusted to stay out later than that, but she's your Mom and it's vital that you respect her decision (even if it seems unfair). My Mom has done similar things contained by the past, (and sometimes still does because let's face it Moms worry a great deal about their kids), but we've always come to a reasonable conclusion within the end. If you keep acting mature (and other make it back by her curfew), then she will know she can trust you, and she'll probably re-evaluate your curfew in a little while. Hang in near!
I be paid my 13yr old come in at 8:30pm & she's only at the subsequent door neighbor's house. You shouldn't be out by yourself at all at 13yrs old but if it's a friend with parents at home watching you guys I would right to be heard 7:30 pm. Your mom or your friend's parents should drop you off there & back to your home. I can't believe she let you stay out to 9pm.
i think you are way to young to enjoy a curfew. a curfew means that you are out and have to get home on your own. i imagine that at 13 your mom should be coming to get you whenever she feels like she should and she should know where on earth you are at all times, because she should be bringing you there or another trusted adult should. im not trying to be show, thats just how my parents were when i was that age. i wasnt even allowed to ride within the car with friends [without an adult] until i was 15.

I think your mom is being very unstinting. If I were your mom you would not be going out at all after dark unless you be with me or your father. Quit complaining she doesn't have to let you out at adjectives. It's a privilege for you not a have too for mom.
Sounds fine to me. i would think it would be your brother complaining roughly 10:30. I think your curfew is reasonable. Especially since you are hanging out beside older kids. They can get into more trouble than most 13 year olds!

Your mother is right! Kids who don't enjoy curfews are most likely to get in trouble and hurt. Listen to your mother. She know what she's doing!

First off your 13, I think 9 is possible. Just because you may think your mature for your age doesn't mean you should be capable of stay out really late. Your still a baby practically. So I don't think your moms within the wrong at all.

I understand where your comming from, my son is also 13 and has a curfew of 9:00. Since hes getting elder i told him i would make a compromise and the rules are he cant be walking around the street past 9:00, so he either have to be at someones house or home. But if he is in a house he can stay out past 9:00. He just cant be walking around the street or at the park or everywhere.
