When did you stop using the highchair for your child?

Johnny is 20 months old. I have a high stool and a booster seat. I use the high chair within the kitchen and the booster seat for when we have lazy dinners at our house and shutting down up eating in the living room in front of the tv. (lol).

I'm getting primed to have a yard sale and I'm debating on whether or not I should put the large chair in the sale.

** The simply problem I have is that we do not eat dinner at a 'table'. We either get through in the living room (like I stated above) or in the kitchen - at the bar on stick stools. I guess I could attach his booster seat to one of the bar stools and still get rid of the illustrious chair...

I don't know -- what would you do? Keep the high chair or provide it?
I sold our high chair when the baby be about 16 months old. He had stopped using it and started using his booster form at the table. Since you eat dinner in your kitchen it sounds like it would be easier for you to preserve the high chair.
I sold the highchair last month, when little guy was 11 months mature. I put him in a booster, and he loves it. Sometimes, if it's only myself and the little ones for lunch, I pull them over to the island to get through, but other than that, with two in boosters, it sort of forces us to guzzle at the table (my children are trying to domesticate me, but it's taking a long, long time). It's nice to not have the highchair sitting in the kitchen anymore.
We are about to stop any day in a minute... just as soon as I can remember to buy a booster seat. Connor hates the lofty chair and wants to be a "big boy".
I would keep him in the high stool. 20 months is not too old for that. The booster on the bar stool thing doesn't nouns quite safe to me. My oldest was contained by the high chair until he was 3 becasue we own a pub table with high stools. We actually have two high chairs for quite some time. When the boys were 3 and 2, I bought child sized table and chairs and put it subsequent to our table for the kids, so they still don't sit at the big table.
My daughter stopped using her highchair around 2ish, I think. I remember using it during her second birthday get-together, but I can't remember a time after that. We are extremely laid back about dinner around here, so she usually eats dinner on the couch or at her little table surrounded by the living room...LOL.

Do you plan on having more kids? If so, would you want to use it for them? My highchair has been shoved contained by the corner of the living for months now, but since I am having another baby it will be used again. Plus, I'm a pack rat, so try to pry it out of my hand...haha.
I'd sell it. Once my toddler started to put your foot he couldn't stand to be in the high chair anymore - he can't grasp in and out when he wants to, he's stuck there until i gain him out. so we got rid of it.
I would sell the high stool. Both of my kids were in a booster chair at around 10 months antediluvian. They are 18 months and 3 years old now. I did it because 2 high chairs would nick up too much room in our tiny house! The boosters we have attach to the kitchen chair and the kids drink right at the table with us.

Honestly, we haven't even been using the boosters at all this finishing week or so. We have a toddler table and chairs next to the big table, and the kids have be eating there. They have be able to sit in a regular chair next to out falling. So we may be getting rid of the boosters soon.
My daughter be a roamer if she wasn't in her high chair. She started wandering around 2 years weak...so I'd just put her in her high stool and she'd eat wonderfully. I kept her in her high bench until she was almost 3.
We never used a highchair - just have a booster that have a tray. I've both had her eat at the table without the tray and used a tray since she started solids at 6.5 months.
16 moths or so..then go to a booster seat.
Answers:    Eli has been in a booster for around 3 months now, he absolutely loves it. Although with your situation, I would engender sure you can secure the booster on the barstool before getting rid of it! That would make me a bit nervous, having a booster on a barstool with no put money on (if there is a back, I don't see any problem at all!)

Oh yeah, flog that thing then! I was *sooooooo* sunny to put that big highchair up in the attic!
