Why does mom diligence if I wear athletic cup?
I am a 17-year old guy entering my last year of high conservatory football. I’ve played fullback for 5 years and have never worn an athletic cup because it slows me down. I am not a wimp and have a really high stomach-ache tolerance and have never had any problems even when I’ve been hit “down near.” Anyway, some how my overprotective mom found out I don’t wear one and now she is freaking out and saying she will not let me play unless I promise to wear one. My Dad can’t chat sense to her because my parents are divorced and he lives 2000 miles away. I think she is overacting because she has watched too heaps movies where guys act like wimps after getting hit in attendance. How do I get her off my back?
haha. you'll feel sorry if you get hit down there and you can't ever use those parts again... even if you're a 'man' and can take the aching, doesn't mean you can't damage something to prevent you from having sex ever again..

As the mom of a football player tell her that it is more uncomfortable to wear one and that it can hinder your gift to move in the way you need to. She is worried roughly speaking you being disfigured of injured by not wearing it, find something on the internet that shows what it can do if you wear it and are injured. A friend of mine played semi-pro football. One of his teammates didn't wear a cup - he got hit on kickoff coverage. Dude's testicle was pulverized. The doctors had to necessarily scrape out the stuff that used to be his testicle.

Whats the requirements from the school, Get them and show them to her. I don't think a cup is required for football. As far as why she cares is simple. She desires grand kids someday. Getting hit hard down in attendance can prevent you from being able to reproduce. She's probably more worried about adjectives grandchildren. One day you might decide to have kids and afterwards find out you can't because of past injuries. Take your Mom's advice and wear one!

Have her go with you when you buy a cup and afterwards leave it in your locker when you change to play. She's never going to know whether it's surrounded by your pants or not. That will make her happy because she'll assume you're using it and it'll manufacture you happy to have her off your rear.
