Moms, what would you muse of this?
I guess I would call her my foster mom or mom. Her birthday is August 20th. I have an idea on what I should do but would close to some opinions.
First, as a joke, I plan on taking her to Chuck E Cheese's. We'll stay there for something like an hour (hopefully during that hour the little ones will burn off some of their energy). I'll pay to have Chuck E sing Happy Birthday to her.
After Chuck E Cheese's, I will embezzle her to her favorite restaurant. By this time I hope the little ones will be able to sit down during the meal instead of trying to run all over the place and whinning. I'll be paying the bill as you would expect. Then I thought maybe buying her some flowers. She doesn't wear jewelry so I don't know what else to get her. Maybe breakfast in bed too? She doesn't wear makeup or close to spa's.
What would you think if your kids did this to/for you? Is the Chuck E Cheese thing stupid?
I cogitate it is a great idea especially if she has a sense of humor!! Also this way everyone is included, but close to the 1st poster said, maybe find a sitter after time at Sir Cheese's and have some one on one time with her.
The Chuck E Cheese thing is stupid and embarrassing, sorry I know it's resembling a joke and all but...no. Anyway what will SHE be doing for 1 hour at a Chuck E Cheese? Buy her flowers, if the other kids are bad behave or are babies/toddlers, get a babysitter. The restaurant is a good idea.
Answers: I think it's a really cute theory. And if she is like me, there's nothing better than spending her birthday with her kiddos and associates she loves. Chuck E cheese will be fun, especially if she likes to just be silly and have fun unlike some of these family. geesh. i could kill an hour at chuck e cheese WITHOUT my kid. go for it. And yeah, start the day past its sell-by date with breakfast in bed! Your mom is lucky to have someone that in actuality cares enough to do something special for her. alot of mom's go unnoticed on their birthdays and mother's sunshine. good luck.
