As a parent, would you verbs somebody aside to transmit them this?
I only ask this question because I was at the shopping arcade & some older---not offensive. I mean older than me,probably 40 or 50 something----ladies pulled me to the side asking me why I be dressed like I was. I would've told them something but my niece(19 months old) was within my arms so I kept it to myself. All I do is babysit, they jumped straight to thinking she was my daughter & started talking something like how I shouldn't be having sex at my age and all. I had to set them straight but save myself G-rated. But it still annoys the sh!t out of me.
As a parent, would you pull somebody aside to tell them about what they're wearing & something like having a child at their age?
----I'm 18 & yes,I do wear baggy clothes but I pay for my clothes myself.
no, they had no right to do that!
no is lewd and rude. for all she knows it could not be ur child and she does not know the terms on how the child be conceived. for example what if you where raped and did not get an abortion because it was agents ur religion. i am merely 16 but that is my opinion. i have watch my cousins since i was young and at the age of 13 people would give attention to she was my child.
No, I wouldn't and I expect I'd be offended if they did that to me. I don't like the wearing of the baggy clothes because I don't get it and it leaves me with the impression that you are a gang member or a thug of some kind--don't ask me why I quality that way because I don't know. I don't know your heart or anything else about you. I guess I watch too much tv--with the guys beside the baggy pants concealing a gun or stolen goods or drugs or something else they should be have. What some of us older women may consider a clean up and wholesome looking guy could be a thug, while you are not. I'm sure they had the best of intention especially have the baby with you, but they crossed the line.
p.s. I'm thinking some city, possibly Atlanta, has outlawed the wearing of baggy pants. I thought we lived surrounded by a "free" country and we didn't have a dress code.
the apology the fad for baggy clothes happened be origanilly a messege to tell women in prison that their "free" or single.
But i guess it got carried away and afterwards people thought it looked cool and made it a worldwide thing
i would never, but i am a mom that i'm sure lots of "older folks" might shake their head at! don't agree to it get to you.
and good for you for spending time with your niece! and buying your own clothes!
Never. That's a bit out of control. I babysat a lot when I be your age and younger, so I know those looks. It's funny how people automatically assume the children are yours. And to comment on your clothes, that's too much...
it was horribly rude of them, what they did. The best way to buy and sell with something like that is to inform them that it be inapropriate to come up to you and say things like that in front of you 19 month outdated NIECE. Then you underline that they assumed very wrong and you don't have to suck it up or do something the kid shouldn't see. It's a knotty line sometimes when you want to tell them more than that, but it should shame them more than an outburst and an outburst, in their mind, might prove them right give or take a few you.
I consistency so bad for you that that kid was there! If I be you at that time, that person would currently be missing her face!
Hell no I wouldn't. and I would be mad if someone did that to me. You should enjoy been more than G-rated with them. 40 and 50 is not like they are ripened and senile or something, or lived in the 30's. They were just individual meddling hens.
No, I wouldnt.
Though I own to admit, that sagging pants item has been going on way to long. It's the longest running trend fad I can think of and it kills me that grown men within their 30's are even doing it.
Some day... I'm going to snap. Instead of walking by, I'm gonna pants some random guy. I can surface the urge growing daily.
I didn't get the fad when it started over 10 yrs ago, and I still don't seize it today. What is so cool, about having your pants hang down off your butt, so that you have to hitch them back up every few steps.
I do own to admit, I love watching episodes of "Cops" where little punks are running from the cops but their baggy pant fall to their knees, tripping them up making them an easy catch.
Answers: That's incredibly rude. I have a sneaking suspicion that it shows those womens lack of maturity, not matter the age. You shouldn't settle anyone because you have no idea what kind of story their lives mean and it could be a lot deeper than you know. Keep doin you, you sound much more mature than those women.
I would never say anything to anyone, unless I liked their clothes! I do however get the impression that if your going to wear your pants below the boxer line, your shirt should cover your boxers, my children don't need to know what color your underwear are :) If your shirt is long satisfactory, than SO BE IT!
I colored my hair last week and I work in a hotel, some woman asked me," Why the heck did you do that?" beside a scowl on her face! I told her I love it and I gave her my hairdressers business card because she looked close to she wanted the color herself (lol)!
No I wouldn't. It none of my business. Just some people are nosy and judgmental. Don;t pass them any more thinking time than they deserve. I guess I would have asked them something like..."So are you still having sex? Because as you can see it works in good health for me..." That might gotten rid of them very fast... But then I freshly don't like nosy people.
No, its rude, and obviously can lead to total embarrasment which they all must be aware of for mistaking you for the father, really, im suprised you kept your cool, because i think i would unleash a holy demon apon them, but good for you, showing you can be an adult around a 19 month weak baby, wether its your child, or niece, besides what buisness is it of theres if you are having sex at a legal age?? its not asif you are planning on have a child even if you were...
anyway, you are in the right, and as a parent i would not pull anyone aside to share them this
