If the child is 6 or 7, I'd hold a quiet talk about songs we sing for others and songs we a moment ago sing when we're alone... for ourselves.
If the child is 8 to 13, I'd have a talk about what constitutes "well-mannered taste " and "good judgment." People similar to being around other people who have "worthy taste" and "good judgment." People don't like self around people who use potty humor, or sing songs that make them uncomfortable.
