Is a male-type avon gala a honourable concept? (maybe Cabela's)?

Is a male-type avon gala a good idea? (maybe Cabela's)?
Women gather up, get through from party trays, giggle at silly stories, while a host flips through Tupperware, Avon, or whatever. Why can't guys get hold of together, cook ribs or grill steaks, while passing around Cabela's catalog or Summit racing catalog. Is this a great idea or what? Have you ever hear of a similar type thing?

WTF? when guys find together, they don't pass around magazines! That's freakin' gay! Guys do get together and hold cookouts and talk about man stuff. Are you 15 or what?

Sounds like a great view. Maybe Hot Rod would be a better magazine to look at.

Answers: LOL. I like the idea. Why don't you walk for it? I'm sure my hubby would go for it, him and his co-worker sit around on breaks and look through Cabela's and hunting magazines and stuff lol. I would just hail as that a guy's night though :P
Edit: The difference is when we have "tupperware" parties, we if truth be told have stuff to look at, not just magazines...
