My dad's wife is going to enjoy his newborn, can my dad be sure he get the child when it's born?
his wife might leave before the baby is born, is in that some sort of legal option to make sure my dad get the baby?

Nope. Custody can't be determined until after she give birth. If they are legally married at the time of the birth they will have joint custody. They would determine custody during the divorce hearing.
Answers: Ok if its his wife then they should not have issues BUT if they are seperating consequently he has to go to court and fight for her to not know how to leave with the baby if he does not do that after she can go and it will be harder for him
the first person is wrong you can go to court and conflict for her not to be able to leave state before the child is born I know of someone who did it.
