[Long] Close friend reliving her son's infancy through my son and I...I don`t know starting to carry alittle delusional?
* I have already decided to seek a unsullied babysitter for my husband's and my date-nights, since I no longer feel I can trust her alone with my son.
I am just wondering if this is adjectives behavior, to relive your child's infancy through friend's babies? Or is this strange behavior?
And if you were me, how would you handle the situation?
Answers: I agree, she is getting out of control. Sharing planning with a new mom is one thing, but we are conversation hand that rocks the cradle weird here. I think she is only really jealous of what you have, and what she lacks. I think it is time to start making the excuses on why you don't want her to child sit for you, and you have to decide if you need to move. Personally i would preserve watching the her kid if she doesn't have anyone else, just out of sympathy for the kid where would she put him otherwise? But, citizens drift apart and people change and you won't be able to really be comfortable beside your new family life if she is constantly recounting you how it should "REALLY" be. Friends are nice, but family is forever.
How is that delusional? I guess I was waiting to read something that screamed "Psycho!!" to me but I never come acrossed it. I also don't see how she's reliving her son's infancy through your son. Most mothers "compare" babies, most mothers offer what they think is advice(i.e. the cereal) to new mothers, and tons of mothers set aside hand-me-downs to friends/family.
I don't know, I think you're making a much bigger deal out of this than need be. She doesn't nouns unusually odd.
