Should or Should Not Have Baby?
This question is purely hypothetical.
If someone is pregnant and knows the baby have downs syndrome, should that person give birth anyways or what is the best option within this case?
Me personally, I would abort.
But it really depends on the woman who is pregnant with the baby near downs syndrome. If you have the patience and resources to care for a special desires child, then go for it. If you don't, then the smarted entry to do would be to abort. But like I said, it's all up to the woman.
Why wouldn't that person make available birth?
Do you know that Down's children are probably some of the most loving individuals on the planet? Granted, it would be difficult to likely outlive your child, and it would be difficult in the extra needs they would own, but there is *no way* I would consider the cons of having a baby beside Down's to outweigh the rewards! No contest!
I don't agree with abortion. Is the life of a person next to Down's Syndrome worth less than a person's without it? Would you abort your baby if you know it had bipolar disorder? That can be just as debilitating. I can understand/fathom why someone would consider abortion contained by the case of other diseases (even though I don't agree with it) but with Down's...no passageway. Down's kids are great.
yeah, i would. it would be harder in some ways and you would hold to adjust some things but there is no way that you wouldn't love any baby you have. However simple it sounds I think you would overcome anything that came your way.
if it were me and i have the resources i would have the baby. i hear its hard though but i know a touch girl with down syndrom and she is the cutest and nicest little thing i have ever see. if im young and alone and the pregnancy wasnt planned, i probably wouldnt be able to do it alone and would give it up for adoption. abortion is an chance but i dont think i would be able to do that
Answers: I did..he is the most mischievous little love bug that I know...he is also stubborn as heck and can do anything "typical" kids can do...it just takes him a bit longer to swot up them. I am not going to say that raising a child with DS is flowing.because it is not, but it the road we chose to go down and I am enjoying the ride.people obligation to educate themselves on down syndrome before they make any mode of decision and not base it solely on their own misconceptions...
