When did your babe-in-arms start holding his/her own bottle?
About three to five months. When he was three months he would try to hold it but he be still too little. Around 8 months he started to just feed himself.
my daughter is 7.5months old and still doesn't hold her bottle by herself all the time!! She can hold hit but she doesn't always hold it right. She doesn't tip it up so consequently nothing comes out and she gets frustrated! Shes learning but I'm within no rush! I enjoy feeding her.
Around 5 months, you can just stand and keep watch on over them.
I believe my daughter was about 6 months old. She in reality started holding her bottle on her own before she could sit up unassisted. All babies are different, I think the average age is between 6 and 9 months. Source(s): Mommy to a 1yo Girl!!
My daughter when she was around 6 months and my son when he be 5 months.
two months old for the 4 oz bottle
the 9 oz bottle be too heavy for him until about 3.5 months
He started holding it at 7 months but our girl will not hold hers i hold it for her..But this isnt a milestone just to let you know some babies never hold their own bottle its not a big deal if they dont do it ever and you termination up holding it for them.
Good Luck.
When he was 4 months he just needed a little relieve. He's 5 months now and can do it all by himself. =]
My daughter held it ONE time so far. She only held it for just about a minute. Since then she has not shown much interest. She puts her hands on her bottle but when I consent to go of her bottle, she'll let it drop. It is will take a while for her to swot. Good luck!
6 months.
