My baby boy was 9lb 5ozs at birth and now weigh 17.4lbs at 16 weeks...he is getting too big for his Moses Basket. Is he too young to put in his cot in his nursery? We own monitors so we can have these on...we can't fit his cot in our room
My son slept contained by his cot in his own bedroom from day one. Why would it be an issue? Source(s): 16w00d #2
You can put a baby in a crib from day one if you want to.
Answers:    Some babies go straight into a cot and never see a moses picnic basket!
My daughter was 14lbs 6oz at 4 months and that was when she went into her cot.
If he's too big for the moses picnic basket, common sense says put him in a cot past it gets dangerous, no matter how mature he is.
i put my kids in their crib the first afternoon. i don't know why it would even be an issue.
