10 month aged disorientation? Cutting teeth?
Caleb is about to cut two more bottom teeth, they are right there and looking like they are gonna pop right through any sunshine now. For the past 48 hours he's had for a time fever 101.5 on and off, and a little runny snout. I give him tepid baths and infant motrin, at what point should I take him to the doctor if the confusion continues? Or is this part of his cutting new teeth? He's surrounded by really good spirits, not fussy and seems fine other than the restlessness and runny nose. Still eating and drinking plenty. Do I need to thieve him in or are they just gonna tell me to verbs doing what I'm doing now?
Answers: I called a nurse line once and she said lately alternate between Tylenol and Motrin. She said that if his fever doesnt break in 4 days then filch him in to his Pediatrician.
That's just what she told me. I usually use my gut instinct though. Sometimes I dont trust nurses over the phone. But I took her advice on this one.
In adjectives honestly though. I think even if you did take him in they will of late tell you to keep what your doing. Have you tried letting him chew on something cold such as a cold wet washcloth? Colten used to love that!
if the confusion last for more then a few days the take him to see the doctor.. maintain doing what your doing, give him motrin or tylenol when needed, and dress him in light cool clothing. you could also try giving him teething tablets to serve with his swelling and pain
