I inevitability some lend a hand beside an IUD the miraina nature...sp?
any ways... i had an IUD put in about 5 days ago. everything be good until today. everyonce in a while my stomach hurts really bad. and in a minute i feel like i have something inside me thats close to rubbing or something. and the string is pretty far down. but my doctor said she had cut it long but i didn't know how long... i didn't think it was that long... im thinking it would be best to christen my doctor and just ask. but im not entirely sure who or where to call. because my doctor is from a catholic hospital and they don't believe contained by bc so she went to a different place to put it in... so should i call this place or the hospital? and should i appointment or give it another day?
I agree with Seafoam, a regular doctor should not put them contained by, only an OB or GYN with experience should put them in. It is adjectives to cramp for the first few days. The strings are for the MD to pull it out once you have decided to hold it removed. They leave them long to check the placement and make sure it's inserted correctly. Once they have checked the placement after 1 month, they usually cut the strings to a comfortable fit for you and your partner.
It sounds similar to yours has not been inserted correctly, because you should not feel it at adjectives. Occasionally your partner could feel it during penetration or you can try to manually feel it, but you should not surface it at during your day to day activities. You will usually even forget that it's nearby.
I would call the doctor's office and leave a message of urgent temperament, without saying what specifically, you can just read aloud it's a private matter and ask for the MD to call you back. I would also beckon this other place and leave a message as well.

First of all, I would have gone to a different doctor if I be you. My regular doctor doesn't do them either, and I wouldn't ask him to. I want someone doing it who does it all the time. Practice makes ultimate!

Answers: I had a Mirena IUD put surrounded by prior to having any children. I had pain for two days that be worse than anything I have ever experienced! (I might say worse than child birth now that I enjoy had children) It was that bad. It be a very strong cramping. I stayed in a ball for two days. I go back to the doc and she said everything was fine. It eventually went away and I have my IUD for three years. I won't ever get another one though.
