My 2 week infirm is a really messy feeder...?
Sometimes she feeds really well, not a drop anywhere, but most of the time she is a slob lol... formula runs out of her mouth everywhere making it hard to track how much she is in fact drinking.
I have tried changing positions, changing bottles, nipples sizes, and massage her cheeks so that she latches on properly, but even when she appears to be latched on to the bottle nipple it still manages to run out of the sides of her mouth.
Its just starting to attain annoying also having to change her clothes after every feed, especially during the dark.
I don't really know what to do anymore. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks! :)
That's adjectives babies. Especially at this age
shes still getting used to feeding , she will get better
make sure u use the slow flow teats .
And use a bib or a cloth around her collar so you dont have to keep changing her clothes
Answers: You want to get teats with the slowest flow you can find. Also, she is only two weeks feeble, she is still learning how to eat properly. My seven month old still have formula run out of her mouth sometimes.
all babies are use burp cloths and enjoy the baby they obtain big so quick!
