What age should a infant start have a bedtime?
My 3 1/2 month-old eats about every 3 hours until his last feed and then he usually sleeps through the night right after. But I'm wondering if it would be better for him to have a bedtime routine every dark. Any mommies or daddies out there have their babies on a sleep routine? If so, what time is an appropriate bedtime for such a young babe-in-arms?
I regret not starting my sons bedtime routine earlier than I did. I am a first time Mommy and be afraid to put my son down. I didn't begin a routine until he was 6months or so. WAY too late. But we own things going on now (11mo), it took about 3months for the routine to really sink in. It doesnt other go as planned, but mostly works.

I'm one of those hardcore mother's that believes in sleeping and ingestion schedules and in my home no matter what at 8pm the babe-in-arms is put to bed and I will not feed or play/hold them until 10pm
this why when they are 1 and 2 they know 8pm is bed time! (this helps stop any fussing)

My daughters bedtime has be 7pm since she was very first born and she's now 11 months outmoded and it works well for us.
