Mommies, what did you do to pummel the warmth today?
We live below the Canadian border of BC so it's always very cool and mild here... But this week we have copy highs and NO AC! It was almost 100 today and my poor son was sweating up a storm! I woke to a giant raining spot surounding his head from him sweating.
So today when I knew he was going to be in place for a nap we got in the vehicle, I cranked up the AC and drove around for 2 hours while he napped so we could both stay nice and cool.
Then we got home and it was sweltering contained by our house, I cranked up the fans and got a large cool gel pack and put it adjectives over my son. He LOVED it and laughed when I put it on his cheeks lol.
Then an hour or so later I filled up our tub tub with cool water and we got surrounded by and sat in it for an hour. We got out and I did not dry him or myself, instead I put out a blanket on the floor and we layed on it bare with a fan on us while we were still drizzly. We were dry in less that 5 minutes because it is so hot but it feel good while it lasted.
He is driving me crazy wanting to be held 24/7 in the boil! I don't know how he stands it because it is killing me!
I am thinking about breaking down and buying an AC.
So mommies, what did you and your kids do to beat the roast today?

Ugh you are within the same pressure system that I am in. I'm in the interior of BC...it is flipping hot! No we don't own AC...we have one fan and that is it lol
To pound the heat, we go swimming at the hotel we work at. It is great! However it sucks when the hot sticky feeling comes put a bet on once you get out of the pool lol
Answers: Oh, YOU POOR THING, and your poor little son! We live in Oregon and it has been similar to you, it be 105 today. Luckily we have Central AC, so I just kind of hang up out at home all day.
If, I did not though I would go to the shopping arcade all day with the babe and clutch my time eating lunch. I hate being hot. Hope it cools down for you!
I live in northen france and its bloody raining here.
We have no AC and surrounded by the heat we have to go swimming within the river.
When its hot we put ice packs on the kids.
Well I am from texas and used to the heat, but we do have to enjoy a/cs or we will die lol.. we went swimming, my kids love swimming and we are trying to enjoy the last few days of summer beforehand school starts
