10 months out-of-date and doesn't drink any milk!!?
At ten months you should either be breast fed of get formula. Its okay to introduce milk at that age. The liquid just curbs there appetite. The risk of rotten teeth doesn't come from the juice but from the bottle containing anything bar water it sits in the mouth too long and can cause putrefaction i think it is called bottle mouth not a good item to have. you may want to tell her the baby may not be getting nutrition from things excluding juice. and a lack of calcium can lead to broken bones following in child hood not to mention just bad consumption habbits.
she's crazy.and a very questionable nurse to not know better...
eta: depends on the type of nurse...there are two different licenses that are both referred to as 'nurses'; LPN or LVN which is mostly a year crash course program, and they aren't able to perform all the duties that a more literary RN can perform; from some i have had contact near, there are great ones and horrible ones, so i don't know how difficult their board certification exam is...i have see some really scary RNs as well, but i must say that most of us do hold more sense than this woman.she could also be a CNA who sometimes refer to themselves as 'nurses' but are nothing of the sort and only take a couple months course on adjectives care..
