Were you ahppy next to your instinctive birth? as surrounded by would you do it again?
or would you get a c-section or take the drugs?
I took the drugs and next time will consider a natural birth but..im not dead set against taking the drugs again either! I wouldnt choose to have a c-section the only mode I would was if it was absolutly necessary!
I've have 2 c-sections (I didn't have a choice) I planned natural births right up until the end of both pregnancies until doctors said no! I can't grasp people who choose to be sliced open and be in agony for weeks! It be horrible I would love to have a natural birth and although the odds are against me that's what I will aim for again subsequent time.
Answers: my mother had me instinctively [ i was an only child ] and said that if she ever had anymore children she would grasp an epidural. she said that she didnt feel like she accomplished anything by have me naturally, just alot of pain that she could hold avoided. i had an epidural and i will get one every time.
Kristal - i didnt even FEEL the epidural going in when they did it, i promise! i remember relating the doctor to hold on because i was about to have a contraction, and he be like "im all done. im just tape the catheder in place!" lol. dont worry, if the person know what theyre doing [they usually dont let trainees to epidurals on women in labor is what the nurse told me] then you will by a hair`s breadth feel it, if you feel it at all =].
Honestly, I've had an epidural and I've deliver naturally. I would rather do it naturally. Yeah, it hurt (I'm not gonna lie), but my recouping was MUCH quicker and I wasn't all drugged up and groggy.
So, yes I would do it again!
The choice of a C section is not yours. (the doc makes that decision). Everyone that has given birth have a different experience with each labor and delivery so you'll win a lot of answers giving you different responses. There are risks with epidurals. Good luck Source(s): Retired nurse
Hell YES! I've had two drug-free hospital births-First one was 13hrs and second i be pre-labour for 7 days and intense labour for 5 hours. I absolutley loved my births and would do it again in a heart beat! I cannot keep on to get pregnant again!

I had drugs newly as I was about to push. I didn't have any drugs during the 2.5 of intense contractions, they hurt so disappointingly. I don't think I could actually deliver without them. I beg them for the drugs by that point.
I am glad I delivered vaginally though.
I have an epidural and it was wonderful.
I go all natural, no drugs, no c-section, no nothing. I be VERY happy with it, and you forget the immense pain pretty hurried. I had all three of my kids natural.
I have to have a c-section. There was no choice in the situation.
