When is the right age my son can hold a quilt and pillow?
They say after 1 year old, but I am not sure if at the age of one I would be comfortable giving my daughter a pillow as we hold a sleeping bag as she likes to cover her face next to blankets, so think I would be too scared, but I guess that might be me being paranoid.
as far as i know you can get babe-in-arms duvets and pillows in mothercare which are extra breathable, my son has always have a duvet but we really tuck him in too if you really think your baby wants a pillow get a breathable blanket and put it under the matress to give him extra lead support but most babys are ok without
The blanket is fine as long as it is tucked down the sides and at the end of the cot enormously well. There is no need to give him a pillow, he is probably used to sleeping in need one anyway.
My son is nearly 2 and have a duvet - but no pillow. We raise his cot at one end because this helps beside his asthma.
During the summer months he just has a fleece blanket to keep the chill stale, but in the winter he has his duvet.
My son is three, he has a blanket in his crib, but no pillow however. I don't see a need for it.
my friend's 2 year old has one and he does fine. once he got out of the crib he get a pillow and quilt. my daughter is almost 1 and actually uses her stuff animals as pillows its cute.
My son is 13 months and has a small blanket (more for comfort than for warmth, it's really hot here right now) and a few stuffed animals. I don't see a need for a pillow - he moves around a ton at darkness, he doesn't keep his head in one place. A pillow would essentially of late be a very boring, rectangular stuffed animal for him now.
