Why does my child hold on to squeezing and tensing her tummy?
hi people, thanks for your help so far, i simply joined yahoo last night to ask this grill. ive posted this as a new question because of the mistakes and or details i have departed out in the last post. my 10mnth old daughter have been doing this since she was about 7mnths dated;
she cries for a blanket so that she can squeeze it into her lower abdomen. although i do believe she seeks the blanket for comfort, she also does this with other things such as books and toys . she does this during the daylight time when i put her in the car seat or the buggy and sometimes she pushes her belly over the edge of the car seat during her playtime. when i am putting her to sleep during the daytime surrounded by her car seat or buggy she does this continuously untill she falls asleep. however i've only notice her doin this once in her cot at night. this causes her to grill up sweat, becoming red faced. someone did suggested that it could be a gas problem but im adding more details to rule out any other more serious possibilities. thanks for guidance
Answers: it sounds like she has a sore tummy. when my stomach is sore, i will press something up to it, like a pillow. I ruminate you should take her to the doctor, explain what she has been doing, and own a bit of a work up done on her tummy. I wouldn't just assume it's gas, especially considering it started at 7 months. It is possible it could be a comfort thing for her, but the fact that her obverse goes red concerns me that it's more than that. have her checked out, and hopefully it's just a short time indigestion! how are her bowel movements?
good luck.
