My babe have be sleeping a great deal more than average lately. That's mundane right?
My 11 month old daughter is sleeping a lot lately. Normally, I put her to bed at 9pm and she wakes up at 9 am, near 1 (sometimes 2) naps during the day. But the last two weeks or so she's be going to bed at 8pm and waking up at 11am, with two naps during the light of day. That kind of thing is normal right? Is it possible she's going through a growth spurt or something of that make-up?
Yes, she is probably hitting a growth spurt, if I remember right (it have been 7 years since my oldest was that age) I think she go through a huge spurt around then.
My son is the same age and I took him to the doctors because I thought something might be wrong they told me that he be just going though what they call taking a growing streak so there be nothing to worry about . And he have been growing well that is what everyone else keep telling me so there really isnt anything to worrry about
Answers: As long as she seems otherwise happy and healthy, next I agree its probably a growth spurt, particularly if she seems to be eating more.
My son is presently 21m and goes through cycles where he eats everything contained by sight, is exhausted by 6pm and we have to wake him at 7.30 am for nursery but otherwise he would hang on to sleeping, and also has a 3 hour nap in the time.
Other times, he won't go to sleep until about 10 and wakes just about 6, and barely takes an hours nap - sounds approaching you little girl is going through one of those nice phases where you get a bit of a break!
yes they go threw there growth spurt and that's when they sleep profusely i remember worrying when my daughter did it its perfectly normal..
