11 month prehistoric not drinking?
Our son has always been a on top form eater, breakfast he would have weatbix then a plain biscuit or some fruit for morning tea, avacardo/vegimite/jam etc sandwich for lunch, plain biscuit or some fruit for afternoon tea then mixed vegies and a bit of meat here and near for dinner. He drinks water, fresh made OJ and cows milk. He doesnt have the same everyday so i dont give attention to he is bored.
Lately he wont eat breakfast, no morning tea, loves his lunch, no afternoon tea and for dinner all i can get him to guzzle is another sandwich. He is drinking A LOT more than normal.
He isnt sick but is getting his molars, i know teething can change a lot but he have 8 teeth and 1 molar already and for all of them he had no teething signs but dribbling.
Do you think its anything to be concerned roughly? Thanks for your help
Answers: Try adding up what he is eating over the course of one week. If it still isn't awfully much then I would take him to the doctor. If you find that it adds up to a bit consequently he is probably just a bit off colour from teething. These toddlers really do change their ingestion habits all the time. My daughter has be a shocker and I've been tearing my hair out adjectives for nothing. Toddlers actually need smaller amount food than you realise. I read once it is only a tablespoonful of vegies and half a piece of fruit a day needed and I be stressing my daughter wasnt' getting enough when she actually was.
Molars are definately bumpy for them I think, so just wait until they come through, but if you are really concerned jump and see the doctor for reassurance.
