Eye color: Will Brown and Green produce Green?
My friend is marrying this irish dude (dark brown hair, green eyes) and she's asian (dark hair, shadows brown eyes). She hopes her kids will get his eyes. Is it possible?
He has ginger siblings, could they have ginger kids if she's asian?
Its possible but not very feasible. Brown is a dominate eye color and green is a recessive one.sorry!
Blue is a recessive gene and brown is the dominant one. When it comes to have kids brown will always win out. In order to create a green eyed child both parents must have the recessive blue gene effect green is an aspect of both. Here's an example with B=brown and b=blue. Parents have Bb (green eyes) and BB (brown eyes) = all children will hold BB (brown eyes since B is always dominant.) Another example with parents having bb (blue eyes) and Bb (brown eyes) = parents can enjoy bb kids (blue eyes) or Bb kids (either brown, hazel, or green.) Since the asian friend most likely has no one surrounded by her family with blue eyes (unless she is mixed race) she will have adjectives brown eyed children unless she marries someone with blue eyes whose parents ALSO have blue eyes. It is just in this situation that she would even have a chance of have a green eyed child. Source(s): High school biology class (I retain a lot of useless facts, lol.)
Answers: There is no guarantee on any of it. I am white near dark brown hair and hazel eyes and my hubby is Puerto Rican with grey brown hair and dark brown eyes. Our 2 year old son have blonde hair and blue eyes. So you never know what 2 people will create, its all up to those recessive genes.
There is a way to find out but it can rob some time. I learned this in biology.

Its called a Punnet Square and it can show what characteristics offspring can have from the two parents the top row is the male's genes as for the one going up and down its the females genes. In this shield it seems that you end up with a destiny having a bigger chance getting a brown eyed and haired kid than a dark haired kid next to green eyes or a dark brown haired kid with green eyes.
Now I can be wrong somewhere so don't think that this is set within stone. I learned this in class freshman year in dignified school its been three years since I've had that class. Source(s): School

It is always posssible but brown is definatly a dominant gene when it comes to the eyes some 9/10 times they will be brown. Also asian features are majorly inherent so the children will definatly have asian features so will probably have the brown eyes but like I said it is still possible. There is websites, if you google it you can run a quiz to see the odds of what your childrens hair and eye color is. Its fun and accurate!!

My sister is Native American African American and somewhat White and she has Green Eyes, her husband is Native American and White and he has Brown Eyes, their daughter has Blue Eyes w/Blonde Hair. She have Brown hair and he has Black hair. Source(s): Family
the baby could bring any gene, it ould come out not looking like either of them but like one of his siblings. my mom have red hair and green eyes my dad had black hair blue eyes and me and my sister be born blonde with blue eyes and then our hair turned brown and my brothers be born with red hair blue eyes and they both turned brown hair, it depends on the genes and what they gain. some genes also skip generations. theres no telling what they will look like really.
Almost certainly not. Unless there are blue or green eyes somewhere contained by her heritage, her kids can't get the two blue-eyed genes they'd need for blue or green eyes.
No, it will take home breen.
Just kidding.
Probably the baby will have brown eyes as it's the dominant gene. But, he could also enjoy hazel eyes as well.
I have green eyes and my hubby has brown eyes...our son has BLUE eyes. How crazy huh? He is almost 15 months.
