Wrong subsection i know but i am getting no answers!!?
My aunt had her tubes tied at 18 yr old, and when she was 20 she lift a camper top while on her period and hurt herself and had to have a biopsy, and since consequently she never had a period, but bled maybe once within the last 5 years, she is now 52 yrs old, and ultimate week she was bleeding, like a period, and bled for 5 days or so, she go maybe 8 days without bleeding and is now bleeding again, should she be worried?
She might just be having menopause. A womans body can do loopdy loops during menopause. Regardless, she should seek a doctors judgment.
This question is too confusing to answer - 32 years ago she lifted something too heavy and hurt herself? Why a biopsy - that's used to check for cancer. You can't find cancer from hurting yourself.
If she's 52 years old and she's having her first period surrounded by 32 years, I'd see a doctor.
Answers: You aunt should own had about 30 regular check-ups with her gyn since she 'hurt herself' at the age of 20. I'm sure the doctor discussed her scarcity of periods.
At this point she is almost certainly post-menopuasal, and any bleeding in a post-menopausal woman requires an evaluation -- so she should ring her doctor.
That sounds serious I would be very worried, she should go to a dr. ASAP
