Weaning from a bottle interrogate?

My daughter just turned one yesterday, but is only 9 1/2 months old corrected.

We have a WIC appointment today, and they were saying she should be off the bottle soon. Which isn't a problem for me any, I would like that. Right now she has two-three bottles of formula a time. The rest is food with whole milk. Her first bottle is in the morning, she does not want to take up at all, but she is hungry and wants a bottle and she goes right stern to sleep. I have gotten her up before and it has be a battle! LOL. So, that is what I do in the morning. She have a bottle before bed, I have also tried in a sippy and she doesn't similar to that either. The other bottle she will sometimes have is because shes not a big eater, and she'll get cracked because she's hungry but won't eat so I'll give her a bottle, which she takes.

I don't give attention to I have a lot to do in demand to get rid of the bottle completely. Do I just go straight to sippy, or should she solitary have an open up at meal time? I don't reckon an open cup will work yet though. She still doesn't know how to tip up her bottle/sippy cup to get the gooey out. So shes not going to understand a cup either.

Sorry this is long! I would appreciate any advice you own! Thanks!
Just keep on insisting the sippy cup to her and she is eating solids so she won't lose any weight over not have her bottle. If she doesn't take it at all then she might not be in place she is only 1 you said wait atleast 2 to 3 more months and try again. I also go to the wic and most of the time the women that work in attendance don't know anything ask your babies doctor before you do anything the wic says. They changed my daughters formula because they said it would be better for her constipation and it made it worse till the doctor prescribed another kind... merely do what you think is right for her and if she's not ready, she's not ready and eventually she will be.
My son is almost 10 months. He goes to daycare about 3 hours a day and they try it beside them there and I try it at home. They have told me though that most of them drop the bottles almost instantly when they move up to the "ones" room and see everyone else using sippies. Babies have peer pressure I guess! :)
Answers:    I don't think it is a big deal to continue to consent to her have them. At the age of one everyone thinks babies completely change and should be completely taken away from things, similar to a bottle, turned around in the car, etc. They are still babies and it is fine to continue next to the bottle. It's a comfort thing.
I think trying an open cup at banquet times would be great. There is no harm doing that. Show her what she has to do and she will catch on to the model.
My son have his 15 month checkup yesterday and his dr said now is the time to take him off the bottle. He hate sippy cups but will drink out of a cup or water bottle with assistance from me. His dr said take bottle away completely and solitary offer sippy cup or regular cup. She said he can go for weeks without milk.As long as he eat what I have been giving him and giving him a vitamin a day. So she said he won't walk long with out it and he will learn to drink it from the sippy cup of regular cup. I will try in a week and we'll see how it go
we started by giving my son a sippy with river at 9 months...he got used to it then we gave him his afternoon milk contained by it, then after a couple days switched his morning bottle into a sippy. he has no problem with it at adjectives. my son is now 14 months and we are getting ready to switch his night time bottle to a cup and go and get rid of bottles all together.

he does not use a open cup on his own, you just enjoy to do it and do not give in she will realize that the only track to get milk or water is in a sippy cup. drink out of it yourself within front of her because this will make her think it is alright and may even amuse her. good luck
My son a short time ago turned a year old and we are working on getting rid of bottles too. He has been using a sippy cup at mealtime and throughout the day and only has bottles at naptime and bedtime. So possibly you can start by introducing the sippy cup to her, let her have a cup during the day so she can achieve used to it and eventually phase out the bottles. I hear you should phase out the hardest one to get rid of first so you should start with the morning bottle. I did that with my son, he very soon gets up and has a sippy of milk. As for the sleepy time ones, we are still working on that too..Good luck!
I am so glad you asked this because I inevitability some advice too!
We bought Alexis a sippy with handles and she is trying to hold it up but still no luck! UGH!
