TO ALL THE BREAST MILK feeders, what do u prefer and y?
im looking into buying one of the expensive medela double electric, but shheeesssshh. 249.99 thats alot of money. what are all the pumps you bought, and what the best in your opinion. im going to work full time. i have need of something good. any advice ladies?
try buying used you can get an expensive one for a cheap price check craigs record or local pregnancy centers you can buy new pieces for the pump at babies r us
I have a manual one that the hospital gave me. While I was surrounded by the hospital they let me use their electric one. The major difference is that with a appendage pump you can actually express faster. With an electric one it starts off fast (like your child would) later switches to a slower pace. The drawback of manual pumps is that it tires your hand out to preserve pumping.
I would have loved a double pump, but like you said that's a lot of money. I did purely fine with my manual, but most of the time she nursed straight from me since I didn't have to be in motion back to work or school right away.

near is one on Walmart .com called a mepump or something like that . It has great reviews and single cost like $60. I am going to try that
I know that some hospitals rent pumps. You hold to buy your own tubing. I think the hospital I went to rented theirs for like $20 a month. In the bring to a close it may be more expensive, but you getting a hospital grade pump and the cost is spread out and your not spending a lot at one time.

I use an Ameda purely yours, it works really great. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but I do know it's track cheaper than Medela and works just as good if ot better IMO. I used the Medela Pump in Style, and yes, it's suitable but costs a lot, and mine broke.. That's why I chose Ameda after using Medela.. And I haven't had any problems with Ameda. I can pmp 6 oz total surrounded by 15 mins with Ameda... When I used Medela it took almost 30 mins to get 6 oz total.

I hated the pumps and found it much quicker and easier by hand. Felt approaching Daisy the cow but it worked and was free!
Answers: I got one of the markedly expensive ones, but am very happy with it. I get the Medela Freestyle, which is a hands-free double electric pump. My baby has successfully breastfed, in fragment due to that, and never needed formula, even though I had to go back to work after basically 8 weeks. She is 10 and 1/2 months old. I got an error message on the pump the other week and they sent me a brand new one which arrived the subsequent morning, even though mine still worked. It has a 1-year warranty. I would recommend it to anyone who has to pump frequently, like working moms. Good luck!

I borrowed one from my sister and got feed up with the noise. I then bought a appendage vent expressing device and it worked a treat, very quickly and silently.
