4 week aged fussy and wont walk to sleep?
My daughter will be 4 week tomorrow. Today she has been extra fussy and now she wont stop crying resembling I start to get her to sleep and after like a couple minutes she wakes up screaming. I focus she might be constipated because we have not had a real poopy diaper contained by 17 hours. Like we have changes a few diapers that have a lil poop poop but basically like if she farted and it was poop but nothing more but have plenty wet diapers. My concern is her crying and not being able to sleep at adjectives she has now missed her kinda schedule she be on she usually goes down for a nap around 1130-12 and she missed that one and it is now 315... and since atleast 130-2 be when she has been crying non stop basically.. what can I do? Do you surmise it is gas and it is causing her to be constipated? We were giving her gas drops before respectively feeding and ran out in middle of the hours of darkness and my hubby is bring some home from work tonight but doesnt get off until 11. Also I have be giving her a lil chamamile tea for gas but after a couple days she is now refusing it i am guessing because the taste.. Please any abet.. Going to the doctor is not an option as my health insurance was canceled at work and waiting to win baby enrolled the insurance is processing her paperwork.. And I dont have 70 bucks to clear the doctor... So any help please!
Hi there, sorry to here your daughter is fussy.
Have you tried swaddling her?
Fold a small corner of a square blanket contained by, then put her down with her head above that folded corner. Fold the bottom corner over her legs and belly and tuck it lower than her back, now bring down one of her arms and fold that side over her body so her arm is tucked by her side. Tuck the blanket in below her back. Repeat with her other arm and corner. She should look like a babe-in-arms caterpillar. She can sleep safely like that.
If this swaddle alone does not settle her, then try picking her up, thoughtful of like a football, with her back to your stomach, and her frontage away from you, just like you would be if you were lying on your side.
This hold and self swaddled is very close to how they lay when they are in your stomach.
Give it a try, this could just be the item to settle her.
Also, you should talk to your doctor the next time you are there. You should not hold to give her gas drops every time you feed her. Maybe you need to switch newborn formulas.
Good Luck, and I hope you get some rest.
It could definitely be gas, it could be colic, it could be that your baby is allergic or intollerant to something in your formula or breastmilk. Frankly I don't guardianship if you don't have the money. You had the baby and it is your responsibility to caution for the baby no matter what. Only a doctor can diagnose what the problem is and giving tes to a baby that infantile can be dangerous. If you just want to try something out here are a few remedies.
Use the playtex disposable drop in liner and once the bottle is made push the air out from the bottom and squeeze the nipple until all air is gone. Less nouns in the bottle means less nouns in the stomach.
If you are breastfeeding and eating large quantity of something try changing your diet. My sister in law be eating a lot of dairy and the baby would not sleep at adjectives. It turns out the baby was lactose intolerant. She was put on soy formula and sleeps totally well now. You NEED to get the babe to the doctor. Beg or borrow money if you have to but the child needs care. That is what human being responsible for another life means.
Answers: could be lots of things: constipation (which isnt when they dont go for a while, but when it comes out hard), gas (those drops sometimes make them constipated too), overtired, colic, etc. enjoy you tried everything to get her to nap? rocking, swaying, swaddling?? as a last resort, step for a drive, try a warm bath, or put her in the motor seat on the dryer with it on (supervised the whole time). that worked for my guy, they love the motion and nouns of the dryer
never give a newborn tea! I would cry too, you have probably screwed up her digestive track. don't verbs about schedules right now, and chill out on the gas drops...they might not be helping any. Just place her on her stomach over your thighs while sitting down and pat her back or prop her up on your shoulder a little higher so that she have pressure on her stomach. Keep feeding her and doing what you can to comfort her.
It should work out on it's own, if she starts running a fever go to the doctor - most office have payment plans if you can't afford to pay it adjectives up front.
Have you checked the inside of her mouth, she could have thrush.
If you see white spots or a whitish color that could be it too...then you HAVE to go to the doc. for antibiotics.
